The day I walked into her office was particularly bad; I literally could not move my left arm at all. After just one treatment, I was astounded to have regained 70% of the motion in my left arm! After 12 treatments, my shoulder was 100% back to normal! A month ago, after a particularly rough bout with Covid, I suddenly found my left rotator cuff and right knee were giving me a great deal of pain. Fortunately, I knew where to turn. I went to Kate and after just 6 treatments, my shoulder and knee are in great shape. My experience with Kate Hoffman at Vero Acupuncture has been 100% positive. Unlike some physicians who listen to you recite your symptoms, then say, "uh huh ... uh huh ... come back in 3 months", Kate listens, takes notes, then checks with you after the treatment. "How does it feel now?" I strongly recommend Kate Hoffman and Vero Acupuncture. Without reservation, I can give her the highest compliment you can give any physician: you can TRUST her to give you the best care possible.

I asked her to please speak louder as I could not hear her. She replied that she feels she is speaking loud enough. I informed her again that I could not hear her and to place someone else on the phone that speaks at a normal volume level. She stated she was the only one there then became very rude and belligerent and hung up on me after I told her if she was one of my employees I would immediately fire her for her unprofessionalism and lack of empathy. It is a shame that I was not able to make an appointment with a facility that was highly recommended to me just because of the first impression I received from a receptionist who obviously did not want to be at work today. I was really counting on receiving my therapy there. Also, the Facility will be losing the monetary revenue that my insurance would have paid.

With hard introspection, and a willingness to learn, Lynette helped teach me how the traumatic events in all my formative years, had caused me to adopt negative, self-defensive ways of avoiding real engagement with people. I experienced quite a transformation, and, at 68, have been a caretaker, volunteer, and a human rights activist, here in Bloomington, Indiana, since our therapy ended in 2000.
