It needed the regular things, like taking in the waist and the length a bit, but it also needed a lot of extensive bodice work which I did not realize when I bought it. I called around all over Albuquerque trying to find a seamstress who would be willing to work on it with no luck. It was less than a couple of weeks (yes! less than 14 days!!) before my wedding and I was ready to embrace what I thought was an ugly wedding dress when finally I was given Sarah's name. Sarah was so sweet and understanding. She was fun to talk to and she listened really intently to what exactly it was that I had been going all over Albuquerque trying to find. She literally cut up my dress while I was still wearing it, which was a HUGE relief to me, and pinned it up exactly how I wanted it. She said she would contact me in a couple of days, which she did, and a couple days after that I came to the store and my dress was absolutely perfect and ready to go! Not only did Sarah do the impossible- completely alter the structure of a wedding dress in a very short amount of time- her price was also incredibly reasonable. I walked out of the shop with a $70 bill which I was in shock about considering the work she did was something that no one else in the city was willing to touch. I just cannot recommend Sarah enough.
