I needed 3 pairs of pants hemmed. I drop the pants off on a Monday and expected them back in about a week. The pants were finished in about two days and ready to be picked up. I was pleased with the work and the turnaround was much quicker than I expected. A very positive experience. read more

Very poor attitude and service. We asked approximately how long it would take, and she couldn't give a straight answer. Susan said it could take approximately 3 weeks, and when I said we would allocate 4-5 weeks, she gave me a lot of attitude and said she couldn't make any guarantees and if she did, she was afraid of a lawsuit. She raised her voice several times when I was trying to get a quote and alloted time frame. I even said it was okay if she needed extra time. Some of the worst service I've seen before. I urge you to find someone else who is capable if you're looking for a good alteration. read more

Quick response to my call, quick to make an appointment within days. Met with me and I discussed my concerns of the dress being too small. She told me I could wear it since it looks like the zipper is fine (was my concern) or go a size up and she altered it. I chose the small unaltered one. She pointed out to me why it's fine as long as I like it and it's should be fine. Asked what I didn't like about it and if there was anything to change. I don't like my stomach being noticeable, she said just suck in for the event or don't breathe lol. She said it's fine as long as I'm fine with it. (It was an Amazon dress with no give at the seam so it's not possible to alter that way. She even showed me how she could tell by the dress seam) She did not charge me and declined when I offered cash for her time. I appreciated her time and honest opinion since most places needed to book way out. read more

I was given the number to Sew Right from a large scale alterations company. I needed some pants rehemmed as the hem had fallen out. I cannot sew! I did not get that gene so rather than buy new pants I searched for a seamstress to fix mine. Susan is so nice and professional. Her prices are very reasonable as well is her timeline for work. You do have to call her for an appointment as she is a small operation but that is not a big deal. If you need some alterations or repairs and don't want to pay huge prices then give her a call.
