I'm an easy person to please, but this place did not succeed. I will not return. First, It is the most expensive alterations place I have ever gone to. It cost $27 to have two pairs of pants hemmed. Second, it took over a week and the woman never called to tell me they were ready. And third, when I picked up my pants the woman just handed them to me and said thank you then walked away. It was very awkward. I guess I'm just used to good customer service. I will say the work they did is good, but that's it. read more

Avoid Abby's Alterations because they do not stand behind their work. I have had many suits altered by her and she is usually good. The one time she made a mistake and the pants were a few inches short for some reason. She blamed me and said because I was not wearing a belt, which is odd because the other pair of pants she did at the exact same time fit perfectly. She wanted to charge me again to fix her mistake. There was another upset lady in the shop that was also complaining she did not stand behind her work. read more

Wow is the only comment I can make about Wannakhon and her staff. I needed a Mardi Gras costume altered quickly and it wasn't a problem here. The service was great, the price was good and the shop was clean and orderly. I recommend that anyone needing alterations should pay Abby's a visit. read more

I brought a formal dress to Abbys to be taken in without cutting the inner fabric. The dress was cut in a way that part of beads and embellishments were cut off and the lining of the dress was sewn by hand to fix it and hold everything together, and now the lining pulls the outer fabric and the dress looks defective. I asked Abby to fix the problem and she refused to. Horrible job and customer service. read more

We took a bridesmaid dress to be let out and they took it up instead and then said the chicken scratch on the ticket said take in and was signed even though a conversation took place about letting out. They ripped the zipper out and sent it home with us without telling us anything. They ruined a 300.00 dress and we will never go back there and will make sure everyone knows the crappy work! read more

I was beyond impressed with the ladies at Abby's Alterations. Everybody else that I called prior to finding Abby's didn't answer or return my phone calls. I brought my wedding dress in last minute, and they were glad to hem it for me. Not only were they fine with the rushed time, but I also decided to switch my dress out (even more last minute - I'm not always this high maintenance), and the ladies at Abby's were SO great about the switch and STILL had it finished in time. I've had three dresses tailored there so far and will keep going back. Turnaround was 5 days for the 3 dresses. One was a tad too tight. They fixed it the same day and stayed an hour after closing time so I could pick it up in time for travel. Quality of work was very good. Can't tell the dresses were altered and looks like the work will hold up over time. $55 for alterations. read more
