I almost feel like we are at a spa or retreat while we do our laundry. The vibe was so chill. Had a nice Jazz Bar meets Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru's house on Tatooine. The payment technology was simple and upgrades were included. Charged my phone and enjoyed free Wi-Fi. Near our hotel the cost would have been about $105 compared to like $32 plus a subway fare, so much better. With a great coffee from across the street and friendly staff we couldn't ask for anything more. We'll be coming back in a few days before we leave Sydney.

Being a watch junky with far more Swiss watches than I need but not near as many as I want, I thought of a somewhat obscure brand called NOMOS that is a small hand made, in house movement timepiece manufacturer located in Glashütte, Germany. So doing a little research I discover that the only authorized NOMOS dealer in Australia is this one in Sydney. After getting to Sydney my girlfriend and I go visit this shop which is small and on the 10th floor of a office building downtown. They mostly specialize in high end watch repair and selling some used vintage pieces. But they also feature the full NOMOS line. I was only there to look and check prices but the saving was far too tempting and we ended up getting the classic Bauhaus design his and hers NOMOS Tangente hand winders. The experience was excellent and the woman helping us was very knowledgeable and had us try on anything we liked and ask lots of questions. Truly an enjoyable experience and now we have some memorable souvenirs from the trip. Totally worth a visit if you are into vintage time pieces or the NOMOS brand.

I was told it would be ready by 2pm on the next day. I drove there to pick it up and had to turn around empty-handed. To add to the frustration - they could have notified me of the delay, as they had my phone number, but they neglected to do so. 2) The jacket after the pick up still smelled like body odour. I am not even sure they cleaned it. Will have to take it to another dry cleaner to get the job done properly.

They do a laundry bag wash and with that all those hours of slogging up and down stairs to the washer and dryer is no longer your concern. They charge roughly $25-$30 for about 10 days worth of washing. I go to the gym daily and work clothes each day so combined I would have a sizeable amount to be washed. They offer same day service and hours are pretty long 7am-7pm most days so it's possible to drop before and collect after work. Been using them for about 6 months and have had very few issues with them regarding quality. On one occasion a t-shirt or two was damaged but partly because they aren't meant for dryer but that's my fault. Convenient and affordable would have no problem recommending them to a friend.

It is stocked with at least 10 washing machines and six driers, and is the only laundrette I know in the area which is open seven days a week. Grab a coffee from any of the countless cafes nearby and take a sit on the bench outside, or take advantage of the magazines provided to keep you occupied. This place is a keeper and a true lifesaver on a Sunday afternoon when you suddenly realize you have no clothes for work the next day!
