For someone who can't sew to save my life, when I was invited for my friend's hen's party I was scared. A fascinator class!? Those fabulous head pieces that usually cost heaps of money, I was dubious of how *I* was going to achieve this.
The classes was $55/person for a two-hour class. The food and drinks were BYO. The teacher/host helped us set up a table and provided napkins and plates for us to share our nibbles around. As some people were late, we had to rush along our fascinator making so make sure everyone arrives early/on time for classes to maximise the fun.
The venue and host has a bit of a retro 50's style which I loved!
The teacher gave us enough space to let our creative side out but was more than helpful when extra assistance was required. I may be speaking from experience.
The classes are catered to all levels of craftiness. Phew!
Definitely was a fun hen's party with a difference! You could even say it was class-y. read more
