Humane Society's little spot will be my go-to for thrifting and donating. It's totally non-profit and volunteer operated, with proceeds going directly to a local mission -- unlike other "non-profits" in town, who spread dollars across a corporate hierarchy or pump revenue up to a national office. The shop is cluttered, so expect to do some digging. When you find something you like, the price tag will be next to nothing. I picked up an oxford cloth button down for a buck. And keep your eyeballs open for Sophie, the thrift store cat!

Snacks were provided for me and my guests, and the shop was so so cute. I tried a dress on that I really liked but wasn't nearly my size, and Leigh looked up a version of the dress on a plus sized model so I could better envision how it would look on myself. Great customer service and beautiful products!

#InvernessBride…read more WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!!! I highly recommend Inverness Bridal Couture!! You will be treated like a queen when you arrive. I had tears in my eyes throughout the personal session with Marley. It made everything so real & ignited my excitement for our wedding this winter!! When I put my Hayley Paige dress on and turned to look in the mirror I literally gasped... my son, Noah (who is 9 years old and was my official wedding dress shopper) turned and said "Yes! Mom, this is the dress!!", "We've found it!". Thank you so much Leigh! And please thank Marley for taking such good care of me. She really went above and beyond. Marley was messaging Leigh throughout our session. And Leigh personally called the designer's studio in NY the next morning to make sure the dress would be ready by The first week in December. We were cutting it really close time wise. Leigh & Marley put a rush on the dress. I'm so grateful for you both! I'm so excited that THE DRESS I want will be the dress I walk down the isle in!!! I can not wait to send you pictures of our special day in McCloud, CA. A quaint town that sits right on the base of Mount Shasta!! A Winter Wonderland a Rustic Wedding and THE perfect dress & accessories. I was able to find my dress, vail, earrings and a majestic sparkling headpiece all at Inverness Bridal Couture!
