Once upon a time I had a barber that I took my sons to. The owner sold the business months ago, and well- I was reluctant to go anywhere. With their hair getting longer and complaining it was in their eyes... Iooked for a place nearby. Found Seven18 on Yelp, and decided to give it a try and so glad I did. Went at the end of the evening with my boys, and was greeted immediately. I thought I saved the name of the barber in my phone- but since I saved it as Seven18- I don't have the name. The barber (if I remember his name will update) was amazing with both my boys, 10 yrs and 5 yrs. So professional and patient. Their haircuts were amazing! Both boys were very happy. Would absolutely go back. read more

The service was okay, but it definitely could have been better. The vibe wasn't great either, and I got a lot of strange looks for no reason. The quality of the haircut was horrible. The first time I went, the barber didn't even speak English, and I wasn't happy with the result--but I decided to give them another chance. That was a big mistake. The second time, the service was slightly better, but the haircut was still terrible. I asked for a taper all around and to cut two inches off. The barber literally cut one side shorter than the other. It looked completely uneven. Overall, this is a terrible place. If you want to get a haircut, you can try it, but I personally do not recommend coming here. read more

Have gone here for years! Great, affordable cuts and skilled staff! Always easy with an appointment or as a walk-in.

I am from Ecuador originally and I live in Florida for many years, but I always go here to get a haircut with Brandon. I have to say this place it's the best place I ever got a haircut since I got to Florida. It's neat, squeaky clean, always nice music and everyone so nice and kind and polite. Brandon it's such a great barber and an amazing person. You guys rock ! read more

Guy who cut my hair was nice but the haircut just wasn't it. I asked for a fade and I got no fade. I asked for pointy side burns and he pretty much took it off. My tape looks like it's slanted straight down with no curve. This is why I'm iffy trying out new barber shops. read more

This shop blew my mind. I couldn't believe a barber shop with over 10 barbers could be such a vibe. I love the set up in there. I appreciated them offering drinks before and during the cut (alcoholic & non-alcoholic). Feels EXACTLY what you would want from a barbershop. Clean, fresh, and personal. Great experience! Thanks Brandon for the cut! read more

Seven18 Barber Lounge - Point of view from the entrance waiting chair - Barbers Near Me - Hollywood, Florida

Neighborhood dive full of barbers screaming across the shop like 3 year olds. My haircut kept being interrupted by Nick taking lengthy calls. Then out of nowhere, he snuck a $3 "service fee" when I went to pay. It's not so much the $3, it's the principle. That's conniving and unprofessional... I was told the haircut was $30 when I made the appointment. If in fact you charge everyone a "service fee" then tell new customers that upfront. read more

Rude and deceptive, I walked in following the huge sign that read 'walk ins welcome' only to be asked if I had an appointment. As soon as I said no, they said in an condescending dismissive manner, "were closed", Mind you if was 1:45 pm and there were many people in there. I guess they also don't close at four. They probably did me a favor. read more

Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news..I tend yo come to Hollywood to do business or get away. out of all the barbershops I have seen online when I have come into town here seems like a good fit for me. i have been here twice and the first time dude had me right, nice dude even asked about my balding spot from PCOS and worked around it. Friday I left the shop defeated, mainly because I hate to cause problems but the guy who cut my hair messed up my edge pretty bad. after about 30min in the chair and him almost being done he turns me to the mirror and ask how do you like it so far. instantly I could tell my left side burn area was pushed back so far the right was too but not as bad. when I turned I said "aww man yeah no my man that left curve is way to back" once u cut it you cant bring my hair back. maybe make an illusion of a hair line with hair color spray but that shouldnt be the option. I tried to work with him telling him add the spray in to see if its better he did but it still wasnt right. my line was so far back it just would have been a big blob of spray i had a bandana and a hat I was wearing this weekend so I thought Ill just work with what I got because I hate confronting anyone. I would go back but unfortunately I wont use the same barber. He gave me also the excuse "he was trying to find my TRUE hair line, and that he had been doing this for many years". This is where I felt defeated because when it still wasnt right he had all his coworkers staring at us and it seemed uncomfortable because noone suggested or tried to intervene when hearing the conversation.. overall I just wont go to that barber in particular. read more

By far the best "Fademasters" in south Florida! Barbershop is always clean and staff is welcoming and friendly!

From the first cut Javier understood my need. My old barber is far away now, that's why I was looking for an new one. I'm happy to give this place and Javier a chance - he absolutely did an fantastic job and gets now my full trust. read more

Bro I asked for a haircut. How is it that everyone is on their phone but nobody wants to work. Next time a first come customer arrives, welcome them. If they're paying for a high service offer a cup of water. Yo entiendo español. Thank you. read more

Saw the place on Facebook book and decided to try, took my 2 boys (13 and 8yrs old), different styles, different type of hair. The barbers were amazing do patient with them. We are very happy with the service I finally found a new place for my kids to get their hair cut. Strongly recommend seven18. read more

Does not take walk in appointments. Don't waste your time. The staff is rude. Location is suspect. Go anywhere else other than here.

Cool place, nice atmosphere but the actual hair cut was terrible I asked to get my sides cut and one side was lopsided, patchy, and the fade was terrible.. honestly I had to explain like 3 times what I wanted I thought it was going to be simple but he just did what ever he wanted and disregarded what I said. I did not get what I asked for... looked nothing like the reference picture I gave them, honestly look like a mushroom right now. Very disappointed. read more

I got a shape up and was charged $50. I have traveled the country and never paid that much, not even in Los Angeles. I just think you should give people a heads up or post prices, so people are not blindsided with a ridiculous bill when it comes time to pay. This was my first and last time ever going here. Smh btw I usually pay 25-30 for an amazing cut not 50. read more

Hector is amazing.Very Professional and does an amazing job.Very Friendly and very passionate about his job of satisfying your needs.

I had the WORST barber shop experience going to get my sons hair cut! I said use scissors instead he still uses clippers, I said don't cut too short, he still cuts short, I said stop cutting he keeps cutting. He then had the nerve to say I know exactly what you want, oh your a first time mom huh? What the HELL DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING! And obviously you don't know what I want because you clearly did not listen to a word I said. At the end he then puts GEL in my 17 months old hair. I don't know about you all but I don't use gel on my kid because he's a baby!!! I get home to wash his hair and tried to brush it down but because he used clippers his hair is choppy!!!! Ugh, oh let's not forget to mention that my kid was screaming the ENTIRE time he was in the chair . Can y'all tell I'm upset smh? On a positive note, hair grows back and thank God I'm not getting professional pics done. I would not recommend a small child to get their hair done by Flacko unless you want a very low cut. Otherwise he will assume what you want and do his own thing. Never taking my son there again. For a small child I would recommend paying the extra money and go to cool cuts for kids because they cater to kids and have cool car seats, videos, lollipops and toys. All because I didn't want to pay the higher cost, I ended paying for it at the barber Update: 11-24-19 So I'm a bit late with the update but wanted to make some things very clear! I am livid about the comment that was left on my review trying to make something that it wasn't. Everything that I wrote was correct and how I felt after asking numerous times to not do something. I simply gave up on saying what I wanted because again, this guy assumed he knew what I wanted for MY SON!!! That hair cut was the worst haircut that I didn't take pics of my son until his hair grew back. I didn't even see the comment until I received a message from the company by someone else that asked me to please take down the review as they wanted to give me like 20 free haircuts or something like that. Whomever wrote the message was truly genuine and if it wasn't for the comment under my review I would have considered the offer and took down review! Now I'm even more pissed because he had the nerve to say I looked at the cameras like who gives a crap! I said what I said because that was my experience period!! Yes he told me he would only charge me $10 in which I know he has mouths to feed so if he didn't take the $5 as a tip then that's his loss! I don't even think I said anything bad all I said was if you have small kids then this place isn't for you. I hate the place even more now because of the comment and he can kiss my a**!!!!!!! I love the place I currently take my son as he always has a good time and they cater to kids period and it's kid friendly! I'm very passionate and considerate of my son's feelings so think what you want and make fun of me all you want but I don't like this barbershop and even worse because of the comment smh read more

I usually go to this barbe chop and I usually let me cut to who ever is available but today I feel like I was getting rep off .. I have long hair and beard I usually get the same trim beard and little fade on my beard ,tape and trim my eyebrows. they usually charge me $35 but today the charge 60 I was in shock .. and wasn't happy with the work .. to over price for a little job ... read more

Came for the first time and had a great experience. I will becoming back for another hair cut.

Y'all please don't come here this was honestly the worst Hair cut I've gotten in my Life one side of my Tape was pushed back further than one side and it was crooked the guy who cut my hair didn't know what he was doing and the fact that they have him in there charging 30 dollars for a cut is very concerning I've had high quality haircuts for 15 but yeah I'm never coming here again overpriced for absolutely no reason read more

Loved it here. Very professional team!I was quickly attended to as I walked through the door and wait time was 10 mins. Barbers were all very pleasant and I felt a nice energy as I walked in. Would come back again for sure! Little pricey comparing to where I usually go, but good! read more

Recently I was able to check out Seven18 Barber Lounge and it was a great experience! It wasn't for me personally, but my uncle lives nearby in an assisted living facility and he needed a haircut. I found them online, searching for barbers in the area, and I called ahead to see if they could fit us in at a certain time. The staff was friendly over the phone and in-person. The interiors are very cool, it's like a local garage meets the barbershop, with a hip lounge vibe. The owner did a great job with the decor and the branding! Danny helped cut my uncle's hair, and he was very attentive and kind. My uncle is mentally challenged, and I felt like the staff here at Seven18 were very compassionate towards him, which was refreshing. Be sure to bring cash or a debit card with you, because you pay the barber directly and l don't think they have a credit card reader. All in all, it was such a pleasant experience at Seven18 Barber Lounge, the staff was friendly, they provided a great haircut for my uncle, and the atmosphere is very hip! I love supporting local businesses whenever possible, and I'm so glad that I stumbled upon Seven18 Barber Lounge and would encourage anyone else in the Hollywood area to check them out! read more

I've been seeing my Barber Nick, that currently works here for about 3 1/2 years. Everyone here is good people, treat everyone with respect. They are attentive to the clients every need in a haircut. The barbershop has plenty of seats, televisions, music, and mirrors to keep yourself occupied and updated on your haircut. Very modern looking barbershop, which I personally like. They take appointments preferably, but do walk-ins when possible. I would highly recommend this barbershop to anyone looking for a clean cut that last. Also, there's parking our front of the barbershop and out back of the building itself. Both free to park. read more
