What a sweet local gallery to explore. I'd def recommend this for gift or fancy souvenir shopping. When you park and come in off the street you are greeted with an open space and lots of cute and classy items to check out. The space is open and welcoming. They have a variety of expensive and affordable, big and small. There is a lot of art- hanging and out on shelves. They also have pottery and a ton of pretty handmade jewelry. You can find some snacks and soaps here as well as the occasional card and or print. They also have some nice leather bags. Great for some street browsing. Would be easy to leave with something unique and special. read more

my husband got a new job so we wanted to do a quick get away. thought we would check out local artist, new home owners looking for some cool original stuff. walk in, both ladies working are finishing with a customer so me and my husband just wandering around, but we're taking our time, picking stuff up all that. mind you customer long gone, these women still didn't even acknowledge us, not Hi how are you, literally nothing. we spent like a good 20 min in there and they pretended we were not in their store, i go to leave and mention they might want to at least acknowledge the ppl in their store..... oh well i was inputting things into the computer, so your partner that was sitting there with her bag of wavy lays chips and staring at her phone ignored us as well... what was her reason to not simply look up & go hi guys. super easy. bc tea shop across the way, AMAZING. nicest lady ever, these two need to take some lessons from her! read more

Seven sisters gallery is an absolute must visit if you are in the Black Mountain area. First of all your products are gorgeous. They have crafts and they have jewelry and so much more. Everything seems to be handmade and the quality is magnificent. I was lost in the store. The staff or what I want to talk about because they went above and beyond. I did not have a lot of money and really wanted to buy a necklace. And what a necklace selection they had! But I couldn't seem to afford anything. So I went around the store content to browse. Imagine my surprise when one of the staff members came up to me holding a gorgeous necklace that was right around my price point. I was touched honestly because most stores do not have staff members who would offer that much of a personal aspect to their service. So beyond the beauty and captivating products you have a warm and friendly people working there which was wonderful. I really like the town of Black Mountain and I really like the store. They get an easy five stars for me and I very much would recommend popping by for a visit if in the Blackmountain area. read more

A beautifully curated collection of 2 and 3-D arts and crafts, displayed beautifully. Be sure to plan some time so you don't have to rush through this shop! Everywhere you look, there is something beautiful for the eye to feast upon. It is a stellar place to find extraordinary gifts as well, that are beautiful and unique. But unlike some other galleries, it feels comfortable and welcoming, the staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable, and there is something for every price point. Fabulous gallery! I love just about everything in there. Great art, crafts, gifts. The expanded new space makes it easy to browse.

Perhaps a bit overwhelming but in a good way. Lots to see and touch. Fine jewelry and art from lots of local artists. Pottery, paintings, sculpture. I fancied the crane made of bottle caps. Great place to find a special gift for someone who appreciates art and all things artistic. read more

Been to Seven Sisters a couple times, most recently Black Friday 2013. Excellent visit once again. A huge array of art, jewelry, hilarious fridge magnets, and other goodies, mostly locally made and top quality. The store does get a bit difficult to navigate when there's a crowd, but that's only because it's stuffed with great merchandise. There's a reason it's one of the unofficial anchor stores of Black Mountain. read more
