My son with a 5# flatty
    Jess H.

1/2 Day Fluke trip: Crew was great. Friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. Mark was very helpful and even lent me some sinkers for my own equip. Small outing of about 25 people, about 30 BBass/Fluke were kept. Seas were rough and tough to find fish. We 3 caught about 7 (wife and son with lots of "down" time where only I had a wet hook) and we kept one black bass and one large fluke. Boat was clean and well maintained. House tackle looked newer and well maintained. Captain hit several spots until everyone hooked up. My son said the galley food was great and freshly made hotdogs on the griddle. They will filet your fish for $2/fish (well worth it, even with a few bones). Great "big boat" fishing experience, great value for the money. We will go back.

Another fantastic trip! Great crew, boat and catch. We'll be making this a regular part of our family visits to RI.

This was my first…read moretime out on a boat in about 7 years, and it was my first time snorkeling with sharks (and also snorkeling in general) ever. From the second we arrived at the dock, Charlie made my friend and I feel completely at ease. One of my favorite things about him is that you can tell from the minute you start talking to him that he's not out to exploit the sharks in any way. After tagging over 2,600 sharks, Charlie really just wants to share his knowledge with you and provide a deeper understanding of these animals. His heart is completely in the right place, and he is amazingly authentic and kind. And as for the actual shark-diving experience, it was genuinely one of the coolest things I've ever done in my life. We had EIGHT sharks around us total, and after a while, they came right up to us! I was nervous at first getting into the water, but after a while, you realize that the sharks are just more curious than anything and far more interested in the fish we were giving them. I could have stayed in the water ALL DAY. I would go back again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Charlie, for your kindness, patience, and natural teaching ability. I had the best day, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering this amazing experience!

We legit were hooking into 2 and 3 fish on a single rig. I caught sport fish until my arms were tired. After an incredibly active morning we switched over to Black Sea bass and were hooking in left and right. His deck hand was supreme and attentive to keep lines in the water. On the boat ride back she cut the fish into filets and bagged em up! He also offers shark fishing, shark dives, champagne sunset tours and a plethora of other oceanic options. I will be a returning customer without doubt! Cheers!

The captain was kind enough to give us some history of the structures around the area. The charter had a bathroom which was a huge plus! The boat was roomy and comfortable even with four people on the boat. I personally took advantage of the seating in the back. We brought our own drinks and food. I definitely recommend bringing your own cooler for personal snacks and drinks. We did the six hour charter and I don't think I've ever caught that many fish in my life. Due to the storm that happened prior to our charter, we mainly focused on Tautog and Black Sea Bass. The captain found a beautiful spot for us to anchor down and set up all of our poles for us. The captain also got the baits prepared for us and had them ready when we needed more bait. My brother and fiancé caught a handful of slot sized Tautog and Black Sea Bass. The captain was kind enough to show us how to filet them when we got back to the dock. Overall, I highly recommend the Pamela May. The captain was great company and we will definitely be booking future charters with him.

I was a victim of racism/racial profiling while vacationing in Rhode Island. Here is my story:…read more I booked a private yacht through a company called Brady Yachting. I told the Captain ‍ Mike that I would be bringing along my 15 year old sister and my 3 year old son. He said it was fine. I spoke with the captain several times on the phone and via email 2 days before, the day before and the day of the ride. First of all, he expressed how he knew for a fact that I couldn't afford the $350 yacht ride. He kept reciting this over and over to me. I was very upset because the hair that's currently on my head is over $500. My baby shower was over $10,000 and I can afford pretty much whatever I want. Just because I am a Black/African American woman doesn't mean that I'm broke and can't afford a lil $350 yacht ride. I was and still am very appalled. It's plenty of African Americans making 6 figures and making more than their Caucasian friends. Caucasians aren't the only bread winners in the world. I would never judge someone over the phone, just because of the color of their skin/race. Then he went on to criticize my name and ask me if he could call me something else for short because he didn't "care" for my name. He asked me "what kind of name is that?" and "why did me and my sister have the same name? (my sister's name has one letter different than mines). I said a quick prayer because I didn't want to go on a yacht with a racist bigot. The Lord heard my prayer and at the very end Captain ‍ Mike canceled my trip. His excuse was that I wasn't truthful to him. He said I never told him I was bringing my 3 year old son. Which was a bald fact lie I told him I was bringing my son from the start, I even asked him was the yacht kid friendly? ‍ he also stated that he was a reverend. God would never call a prejudice person to do His work. You have to love ALL people to be a Christian and do God's work. I would never recommend Captain Mike/Brady Yachting to anyone. I don't condone unprofessionalism, racist, ignorant behavior.

My favorite was the HUGE bull as you first walk in. This thing is massive and a fun way to enter the park. More info: The South Kingstown Land Trust Sculpture Trail is a short .4 mile walk that mingles nature with art. Enter the trail at the midpoint and notice the large map indicating the location of each sculpture. Walkers may turn right or left to explore the 3 acres of easy trails and diverse sculptures. Look for dream catchers and crystals, poetry boxes and a giant red cow. The Sculpture Trail is a great place for a slow walk through the woods or a visit with children who will love to find each sculpture. Be sure to stop at the final sculptures and turn around, as the property and trails come very close to private property.

Kudos to those who made this possible and the artists who contributed their work! If visiting in the fall, the brilliant foliage colors and drifting leaves complement the artworks nicely. My only quibble is that I wish there were informational tags attached to the sculptures so that you knew what the piece was called and the artist (apparently, there's supposed to be an informational placard at the trail entrance, but this was missing at the time of our visit; the SKLT trail map brochure, however, does list the pieces' name/artist, but we didn't have one on us). Upon entrance to the trail, you are greeted by a massive bull made from, of course, a barbeque grill ("Sir Loin Barbeque Bull" by Sean Harrington) - and from there, you're off to follow the meandering trails to discovery. There's also a Fairy Village for visitors to build their own fairy houses, so would also be a fun place for the kids.
