I'm writing this review as an American...keep that in mind.
This seems to be sort of an American themed place. Lots of Budweiser signs, and lots of bar food. Beer selection is only so-so. Liquor/cocktails looked to be a bit more diverse but I just didn't feel like it.
The Caesar salad was HUGE. Actually, all the portions were huge. And I'm saying that as an American. We had popcorn chicken and come croquettes as well. The popcorn chicken was only ok. It had a breading more akin to the frozen chicken nuggets we ate as kids. It wasn't very crunchy. Nor was it very flavorful.
The hot sauce provide was tobasco..Menus were in English
The service was abysmal. I'm not sure if it that we were a group of Americans or not though. It took quite a bit of action on our part to get the attention of the staff. However, the food was crazy cheap (3 of us ate and had beer for ~165 R$ or about $70) That's the redeeming factor.
Maybe if I was a local it'd be fun to go and have a bite or a drink at something that we could have found in the US, but as an American in a foreign land, I kind of wonder why I even went. read more
