All he wanted to do was show her some of his work for a possible spot on commission. She treated us like we did not matter. Not even to possibly look and say maybe in the future or do you have a website etc. I WILL NEVER GO BACK.. it was one of the worst encounters I have ever had. She acted like she was better than us... ( definitely not!!!) I will be passing the word to everyone I know. I hope she feels good about herself...

When I went into the gallery I was heartened to see true representation of local artists and that the works were skillful and professionally displayed. When I've been in other cities I've been increasingly disappointed that galleries show a large percentage of coldly decorative or derivative work. It was refreshing to see items that were sincere. I didn't expect to see a gallery of any significance in Calumet, and it is not the only one there, either.
