Her exam was not complete and as a physician, I knew what she was supposed to do. She also took the liberty of calling me by my first name without consent. Not one person in the office introduced themself. My second visit was cut short because I had weighed myself in the morning since I had an afternoon appointment and I had eaten lunch. I did not think it was necessary to be weighed again..The dr walked in and refused to see me if I didn't step on the scale. At that point I walked out. I'm a 63 yr woman and she treated me like a child! Never again!

I had just gotten involved in a project/investment that required my presence 7 days a week. I asked Dr C if he can help me with it at least for a year, so I can focus on the project......... AND HE DELIVERED!!!!!!! About a year later we started decreasing the frequency of the sessions and believe it or not, that was it. Never had any more pain, but of course you have to have periodic sessions to maintain what he has given you. So thank you DOC AGAIN AND AGAIN......

Unfortunately, Dr. Corcoran not so much. Dr. Corcoran does not seem to understand what continuity of care means. Recently i had a experience where i was "mailed" a prescription that was never received. I contacted the office (Thank you Terry!) and decided to wait a couple of days to no avail. Contact the office again and was informed that My PCP was on vacation, explained my situation to Debbie (office "manager") and asked her to then have prescription mailed to work since they seem to always have a problem mailing me, although no one else is. After 1/2 day, she calls to inform me that they wont mail a new prescription because Corcoran is not "familiar" with me. Mind you these are not narcotics. When i again told them i have been off for a couple of days, Debbie' s response was "well, there is nothing I can do" i asked to have either Corcoran call me or i could call at a time most convenient and was told that was not happening either. I am sorry, but if you have my 10 years medical records to your disposition and you are that lazy to take a look since you are the MD of the practice and rather not be bothered by those pesky little things such as patient care, maybe is time to change profession.

Today when I went for an emergency…read morecheck-up, they were almost 15 minutes behind (I had almost the first appointment), no one asked if I needed to use the ladies room first (as they used to), and the woman at the check-in/out desk was nothing short of miserable. It's like they just hate their job, already at 8:15 am. My actual doctor was THE SWEETEST, and referred me to schedule my next appointment to swap out birth control, only to deal with the front desk woman again who says A. They don't have anyone to do a swap that month except for 1 singular day at their Westerly office, and then when I asked how/where I would go about scheduling it elsewhere if need be, and she was a total twat about it; "you can look that up yourself." "Okay, but WHERE do I start?! Doctors office? RN? OB?" she just answered "another OBGYN". Totally unhelpful, unfriendly, and honestly makes me not want to return EVER! And I've been here 15+ years AND my mom came before me. Sad sad state of affairs this office is in, especially with the poor "bedside manner" of the "face of the business." Very unimpressed today, and leaving discouraged.
