When we looked for a vendor, we really wanted to build a relationship with them and know it was more than a person or people hired to do a job. Daniel and Lori became our fast friends and we could not imagine the day without them. It's impossible to quantify how special it is for us to have had Daniel and Lori film our wedding. Through the ups and downs of wedding planning through a pandemic, Latimer was with us every step of the way. Planning, postponing, replanning. This was quite a time to plan. We were amazed at how quickly they turned that around, after shooting so many hours of footage the night before. When I first saw the Highlight video, I was so thrilled, I couldn't wait to share it with my husband that night! Their editing is fantastic, the music choices are original and thoughtful, the cinematography is fabulous! This will be a perfect way to remember the day for years to come! The whole Latimer crew is very friendly and easy-going. Laura knows how to interact with the subjects while she is photographing to get you to smile and look your best. Dan and Lori do the right thing by blending into the crowd while taking video. They were all very professional. Dan showed organization and dedication by scouting out the church and reception locations the day prior. The equipment is also very impressive, up-to-date and high tech (as you can see on their blog). We appreciated that Daniel was flexible about the type of media to use for sharing the video with our family - Blu-ray, DVD or web-based were options. They also make it super easy to book, tell them about the wedding plan, and pay for their services. Everything is online, even signing the contract, which was cool. We had an extremely good experience with hiring Latimer Studios to document our wedding. I am a firm believer that anyone who hires them for their event will be as impressed as I was with their professionalism, efficiency and creativity.

Despite being depressed that it took my husband 10 minutes to find our photographer after I looked for weeks, almost immediately after looking at Michael's website we knew that we had found our photographer. Michael's work was excellent. Sure, there were a couple of shots that in retrospect I would have liked and there are a few shots where I'm disappointed that there was something in the background that shouldn't have been. However, he perfectly captured the day--from getting ready, to some portraits, to taking shots of the sunset and storm. We really wanted a photographer that wouldn't take over the day and evening. Michael listened to that, and he was a personable fly on the wall all evening. He joked with us during portraits, making them tolerable, and then let the rest of the evening happen organically. He took multiple candids throughout the event that still make me smile every time I look at them. He took a nice mix of black-and-white and color photographs and took some "artsy" photos as well. I would highly recommend Michael Nesmith for events and portraits. He was is a professional, highly talented photographer with a great eye. The wedding package we selected had everything we wanted and was extremely reasonable. He had the photos back to us within a few weeks and even apologized for the delay (although I don't think 2 weeks is a long time to wait). I was very particular about the style of photos that I liked, and Michael's pictures stood out. During the interview he brought tons of wedding albums (all different kinds and at different price ranges), a folder with example pictures and his package price breakdown and more importantly, he showed me weddings from start to finish. He went to school for photography and specializes in black & white photos (which are beautiful). I was looking for brightly colored photos, but to have a photographer who can do both and do them very well is great. And he is really organized, while he goes around doing table pictures, he will hand out cards (which have the bride & groom's pics) with the website where your wedding pictures will be displayed. Even though he lives in NH, he will gladly come into Boston to meet with you and he will travel anywhere for your wedding. He is very accomodating and is quick to respond over email - which is a very important quality in your photographer. I liked him immediately. He also has really great packages for even the budget bride which include a CD with all the high-def pictures. I will need to write a review once the wedding is over, but I have a great feeling about him.

Very organized, Aiden is super responsive via text or email; it's always been a breeze to communicate with him. He was also very flexible with changes of plan, which are quite common given how much is going on during those wedding days. It's worth mentioning that Aiden accommodated my last-minute proposal plan and played along nicely to pull off a proposal that both was a surprise to my then-fiancée AND got captured by a professional photographer. (These two usually go against each other: You either pop the surprise but have no one capture it, or have it professionally captured but ruin the surprise. With Aiden, we had the best of both worlds!) Also, to get the peak foliage in Boston, we changed our plan multiple times, and Aiden has always been very cooperative and accommodating. He was also extremely helpful in even non-photography issues, providing many great tips for us (including where to get good seafood after our photoshoot LOL). Aiden's assistance has made our entire wedding experience much easier and more relaxing. He has been always sweet and patient, soothing our stress that originated from the necessary preparations. Most importantly, Aiden is a skillful photographer with great taste. We immediately fell in love with his work after seeing his unique approach of documenting the moments. I have a Ph.D. in a field possibly the closest to photography and deal with images/photos/videos on a daily basis, and I'm confident to say Aiden is technically solid, of course in addition to his artistic tastes. We ended up with numerous beautiful pictures we love, which, by the way, got delivered within a matter of only a few days after the shoots.
