After not being diagnosed by a couple of others, this doc diagnosed my autoimmune issues and sent me immediately to a specialist- and then to others as needed. I cannot say enough about what Dr. Snavely has done for me. He has saved my life twice…read more The first time was in August 2018, when he arranged and performed a four-way bypass (CABG). He took the time to explain everything in detail and showed me exactly why the surgery needed to be done immediately. I followed his guidance, had the surgery, and everything went very well. Things remained stable until May 2025, when I called 911 for severe chest pain. On the way to St. Mary's, I knew something was very wrong based on what the EMTs were saying. When we arrived, a full team of nurses--and Dr. Snavely--were already waiting, thank God. I was in intense chest pain and having difficulty lying still. That's when they told me I needed to remain still so they could perform an EKG, because I was having a major heart attack. Dr. Snavely immediately placed a stent and opened the blocked artery, and everything turned out okay. St. Mary's absolutely made the right decision bringing him onto their team. The entire cardiology department at St. Mary's is outstanding. Thank you, Dr. Snavely.
