Nice Italian ski resort that was part of the Olympic Games in Turin 2006. The prices of food in the slopes is OK and the price of the ski passes are average. We stayed in a part of Sestriere called Borgata. I can recommend it cause it's a cuter and more genuine part of town. The village of Sestriere is not that pretty unfortunately. Perhaps because of the time when it was originally built to a big ski resort, and perhaps because of the Olympic Games. But the slopes are good! Both for kids, medium and advanced skiers (though advanced skiers will need to use the entire ski system, including neighboring villages).
- They should really have wind covers over the chair lifts! And I've had much better food in the Italian Alps than here.
