About a week and a half ago, I visited Noor Threading to have my eyebrows waxed, threaded, and…read morelaminated. A few days later, I noticed my eyebrow hairs looked damaged: dry, brittle, and almost fried. Shortly after, I began losing a significant amount of eyebrow hair, especially along the top of my brows. Simply touching or brushing through them causes multiple hairs to fall out, far more than I have ever experienced before. I naturally have thick, full eyebrows, which is how I arrived. Now, my brows are noticeably thinner and patchy. Some remaining hairs developed an unnatural curl, causing them to stick out and not lay flat, and many of those hairs have since fallen out. To understand what happened, I visited another brow professional who specializes in brow laminations. I was told my brows had been overprocessed. I was informed that different areas of the brows process at different speeds, which is why technicians should check the brows throughout the process. If not properly monitored, the hairs can become damaged, dry out, curl, and fall out--resulting in patchy brows, which is what I am experiencing. During my appointment at Noor, my brows were not checked during processing. The plastic wrap was only removed once the timer went off before moving on to the next step. I followed all aftercare instructions provided, including keeping my brows dry for 24 hours. I was advised to leave my brows alone and allow them time to recover, as they are currently very dry, damaged, and shedding hair. I also experienced a chemical burn in the brow area following the service, although I do not have a photo. This experience has been extremely disappointing. This was my first time visiting a brow studio since moving and my first-ever brow lamination. I paid a significant amount for this service, only to be left with damaged, thinning brows and hair loss. They look amazing every single time. 3 lash perm and tints and I have not been disappointed. The atmosphere is so calm. 1000% professional. I recommend Noors to everyone. It seems that if I was allergic to the adhesive then I would have a reaction to the adhesive the first week I got them right? Well, no, I didn't. This was entirely something different. And when I asked Diane for a refund. I got spatted out "facts" and that what I have is an allergic reaction, and basically that she's not responsible. She was also incredibly rude and lacked sympathy as I sent her pictures of my inflamed eyelid. Not to mention that I had to hurry get them removed at a different salon because she wasn't available. It was all just a pile of money...wasted. ALSO she also admitted that this exact situation has happened several times with her clients. If that doesn't scare you, I don't know what will.

I was paired with a stylist whom, painfully, knew nothing. She had very thick, long, wavy hair. The pictures I shared did NOT have a center part in the middle of my head with obvious thinning hair showing in the middle of my face accentuating a high forehead. The stylist was very nice but she should NEVER give cuts to people with my hair type. The next day I thought I would pull it back and fluff the bangs until I could figure this mess out. The bangs fluffed but I literally had (have) side pieces that are 3 inches different in length on each side of my face. OMG! From bad to worse. After evaluating what hair I am currently left with I chose a cut that would help fix this mess. Looking for a new stylist now. Prerequisite for my new stylist... she must have thin fine thin straight hair.
