Her responsiveness was top notch as well. Anna stayed on top of everything and turned things around quickly. Nadia was available and open to all of our questions, concerns, and most importantly, what we wanted to get out of the rebuild. We would send ideas and she came right back with what would or would not work in our space. Once we decided on a floor plan that we loved, Nadia got to work on all the technical stuff. She went to the City for plan check/submission and handled the whole process quite beautifully. The City had no issues with her completed plans and permits were issued so we could begin the transformation. I love our finished home and am so thankful Bolt was with us on this journey! Her pricing could not be beat, not by a long shot! There were no hidden fees and she was upfront about the need for an engineer to sign off on the project. I will add that while the engineering firm she works with ultimately got the job done, per our contractor, the structure was way over-engineered and a few changes were made to simplify it(and save us a lot of money). All in all, Nadia is fabulous. I am posting some pictures of the exterior that we just had painted and will add more from the interior soon! Thank you Bolt Design Studio!

Initially, Seyed seemed like a professional who could complete the job on time and deliver quality work. While his estimate was not the lowest, I decided to go with him because he gave the impression of being reliable and experienced. We got full house paint, flooring, installation of sump pump, gas line installation from him. However, things quickly started to unravel. First, his original estimate was off. Throughout the project, Seyed kept coming back with new excuses for why the price kept increasing--"The gas line needs more work," "The painter is asking for extra money," and so on. It felt like every step of the way he was asking for more money. This was frustrating, especially since I had already gotten multiple quotes and his initial price wasn't the cheapest, to begin with. Yes, the project was completed ahead of schedule, which I thank him for but the quality of the work was subpar at best. I dealt/still dealing with issues that were never addressed or fixed properly - after the flooring work- doors did not close ; few flooring moldings are still moving, paint spots found after he left, he left painting a door, newly installed gas stove is moving at its place, etc. and it's been four months since the job was completed ! He installed new electric outlets for me as a gift for free and guess what those multiple outlets are coming out from their positions (he rushed to do that work too). I've reached out to Seyed multiple times, hoping he would come back and take responsibility for the problems and fix, but he has completely ignored my requests. It's clear he has no interest in standing behind his work or ensuring customer satisfaction once he gets paid. In the end, I regret hiring Seyed Construction. The job was rushed, the quality was poor, and the lack of follow-up has been incredibly frustrating. If you're looking for a reliable, professional contractor, look elsewhere.

This review is long overdue... I've worked with Dennis…read moreNorton Designs for well over 24 years. Dennis is a thoughtful and experienced Home Designer who also use to be a Contractor so when he designs something it can actually be built. Dennis not only designed my home but he dealt with a very difficult county to gain my building permits. Dennis also use to be the Mayor of Capitola and is such a nice guy that he gets along with everyone which makes building much more enjoyable. I initially tried to use a contractor I had met but he had a bad anger problem and walked out in the middle of construction so I asked Dennis who I should use and his referrals were always the highest quality workers and my home turned out beautiful. In 2020, I called Dennis to design a new home on my land and when my home and land burned in August 2020, Dennis was ready to submit my new plans so I could build immediately. I forgot how incompetent the Santa Cruz County was. I had my land cleaned of Ash and Debris very quickly before the rain spread the ash and it infuriated the county who was only concerned with their forms and they refused to even accept my New Building Plans. They even refused to give me temporary power to get water for my horses. Throughout this nightmare, Dennis was very helpful and considerate. Because the county wouldn't give me temporary power I was unable to work so Dennis offered his office for me to work out of. He repeatedly said "tell me what I can do for you, I've got your back". When the county demanded additional reports many months after the fire I asked Dennis for a referral and Dennis called Soils Engineer Joe Rafferty and Joe referred us to Wendy Johnson of Benchmark Environmental Engineering and Wendy patiently spent months getting us clearance. Dennis is an exceptional human being and designer and anyone he works with is also similar quality. I can't recommend Dennis highly enough and anyone who uses his talent will realize why I have written about him as I have.
