Our experience with Daniel was great. Last winter we had…read morewater damage from frozen pipes in the upstairs bathroom. The water ran full force for 10 minutes. After temporary piping repairs and we ran fans for a week with extra heat going before the ceiling downstairs finally dried. We've had insurance claims before but mostly exterior and roofing. That usually involves 1 or 2 skill trades handled by your roofer. This was very different. We knew repairs would involve flooring, cabinetry, sheetrock, additional plumbing, ceiling resurfacing along with painting. I was a bit overwhelmed. After expressing concerns with my Travelers Insurance adjuster he recommended a complete restoration service through Westhill Global. That led us to a local company, GWC Restoration. Daniel put us at ease after assessing the repairs needed. He was very patient with us carefully explaining the complex claims documents as well as delaying start until our son moved from upstairs. Daniel handled everything including the flooring installers from Madison Flooring and Paint. The finished product looks great. We highly recommend Daniel Cantor at GWC. Thank You, Daniel alongside Travelers Insurance. Keith and Dana Pounders

I was initially happy with the work that was completed at our home. They were professional and…read moreresponsive until I let them we were experiencing a leak in the roof/flashing/chimney cap that they replaced. I have called, texted and emailed over the last couple of months with no response other than a text that said, "Can I call you later?" They are not standing behind the warranty they claim to offer.

My fiance hired them to fix a minor roof leak we had. After their roof repair, we spent $900…read morerepairing the sheetrock on the ceiling and re-painting where the leak was. Only a couple weeks later, we noticed the same leak spot show back up on our ceiling. We had Tycon back out to fix the roof again and paid them a second time. We had to tear the sheetrock out again, put new sheetrock up and re-paint (another $900 + the cost to repair the roof a second time). We now have a leak where the previous homeowner nailed through the shingles. So--without my knowing it--my fiance asked Tycon to come out to give us an estimate to repair it. We've waited 2 weeks for them to show up and still no calls. Nothing, even after we've called to check in on the appointment. I asked my fiance today what company it was that he asked to come and when he said "Tycon", I laughed. I work in the construction industry and understand that literally nothing ever goes as scheduled, especially these days. HOWEVER, we still make sure to keep in touch with our appointments to give them status updates on when we will be out. It's just such a lack of professionalism and disrespect of your customer's time. Just call and at least let people know you are too busy to take on their job or don't have interest in taking on their job. It's simple. I know that's a difficult call to make, but I'd prefer that over being strung along until we finally take the hint.
