Mark came out, assessed the situation, and went to work. He moved the items in my garage and organized them outside the work area. He removed the damaged sheet rock and insulation and disposed of it. I was very impressed with Mark's knowledge and his workmanship. He was professional, courteous and dedicated to my restoration project. A Steamatic team worked on our laundry cubby ductwork today, and cleaned the dryer as well (the…read moredryer had become unusable, just got hot but without it being able to vent clothes weren't getting dry). I clean the lint trap after every use but dust and pet hair still gets through it and builds up. They were courteous and professional, thorough, cleaned the space up afterward and reconnected everything and put it all back into place. The before and after photos were scary, the ductwork was completely occluded, it's clean and safe now and that's a relief. I recommend Steamatic wholeheartedly, they did the job for a good and fair price, no hidden costs, arrived when they said they'd be here, and did a fantastic job.

Since that didn't feel precise, I asked for someone to come out and confirm the estimate. A staff member visited, counted all the vents and intakes, and explained that we had more vents than expected for a home our size, which increased the price. I appreciated the transparency there. Before scheduling, I asked how long the job would take. I was told two hours. The day of service was where the problems began. Two Steamatic employees arrived at 9 a.m. They explained they needed to set up a large vacuum system in the basement. Unfortunately, this equipment required more power than anticipated, and it took nearly two hours just to find an outlet configuration that would work. Once they began cleaning, the process took much longer than the original estimate - they finished at 4:30 p.m. That's a seven-and-a-half-hour job, not the two hours I had been told. I contacted Steamatic to express my frustration. To their credit, the company responded quickly: a supervisor came out several days later to inspect the work and found several issues, including dust on walls and ceilings, vents missing screws, and others not secured properly. Within a few hours, a second crew was sent to correct everything. Steamatic ultimately made things right. I received a revised invoice with a $177 discount, which I appreciated, and a VP called me personally to understand what happened. The supervisor also explained that the job should have been estimated at five hours - not two. One final note: no matter how careful the team is, vent cleaning does create some dust in the home. That's simply part of the process. Bottom line: Based solely on the service day experience, I would have rated this a 1. But because of how they handled the issues- prompt follow-up, corrections, and a fair discount - I'm giving them a 3 out of 5.

What initially appeared to be a minor issue turned out to be extensive damage caused by water intrusion around the roofline and chimney. Ultimately, the entire sunroom had to be demolished and rebuilt from the ground up. From the beginning, the team at Mr. Cleanz treated our home with care and professionalism. They worked directly with our insurance company, coordinated the necessary trades, and guided us through a project that was much larger than anyone originally anticipated. Throughout the process, the staff at Mr. Cleanz remained friendly, courteous, and committed to making sure the project was completed correctly. The finished sunroom exceeded our expectations. The craftsmanship is excellent, the room is beautiful, and it's hard to believe it's the same space after seeing the extensive water damage that had occurred.
