The place was a bit messy with trash about the floor even though plenty of trash bins are around and empty. The machines weren't particularly clean, so I used paper towels to clean the edges of the machines before pulling my laundry out to avoid getting that gunk on it. Adequate amount of seating and folding tables. There's a lot of outlets and free WiFi available. Although there are signs saying no soliciting/loitering/panhandling there was a patron taking up a large area with a shopping cart and other personal items strewn about sleeping initially. He later followed another patron to the door and asked to be given one of the blankets he had, mentioning that the ground gets cold at night All in all and good place to bring larger items to wash and dry. My mother Glory couldn't stop talking about how respectful, kind and professional the Jesse staff were that literally saved our bacon for a planned reunion of 7 kids, 23 grand children, and 6 great grand children! Our Mom died last year, but the peace of mind and family reunion memory fun lingers in what would've turned into a family reunion swamp if not for the customized solution to her home foundation water leak problem. That was one of Mom's happiest memories in her final years. She taped a letter to her refrigerator that was sent and signed by Jesse Trebil asking her to call him personally if any future nature problem arose after the excellent work that was done to restore her finished basement. They had fixed some water damage to my place but it took them over 4 weeks to finish and they had…read moremissed several little things. Like not putting the cover over the sprinkler back on, putting door stops back, cleaning up, etc. The project was too big so they had to hire contractors that they never monitored and broke rules consistently (using bathrooms they weren't supposed to for example). When the project started and they were tearing out the walls, they never covered anything so all my things got covered in dust and debris. Which they never apologized for in person, just left a sticky note (that was mine and not one of theirs) saying "sorry". They had damaged my trash can and left dents in the walls, missed several spots of paint, left small holes in the walls or even entire scratches. Not to mention after everything, they did a horrible job of cleaning everything up; barely touched a thing after it was all said and done. Overall they were unprofessional, way above their heads, had horrible communication, and did very little to make up for it. If you have another choice, I would highly suggest it.

Instead, I first called a local company who didn't give me the time of day and was very rude so I decided against them as well. (A little side note here, I can't stand when you tell someone that you just want an estimate and when they give you one, and you say, "I'm gonna call around and get some more, thank you" they go on the defensive and start bashing every other company in town. To me, that's just childish; tell me what sets you apart from other companies in the area and be dignified about it.) Ok, back on point now... I called A-1 a little past 10:00pm and the man I spoke to (I wish I remembered his name because he was great) gave me an estimate and explained what he thought might be the issue. He answered all my questions and said he could have someone out at 8:15am the next morning. I was surprised because the last place couldn't even get me in the next day. Morning came and Tyler from A-1 showed up on time, assessed the situation and within 5 minutes, was laying down drop cloth and rolling in his machine. About an hour later, he was done and now everything drains correctly. The best part, the price I was quoted, was the price I paid! I won't give specifics, but let's say it was probably a little less than half of what I would've paid with Roto-Rooter. Bottom line, a great local company that knows how to talk to customers on the phone, show up on time, and get the job done at the price that was quoted.

When they arrived, they were all set and ready to go. Gave Travis a run down of what the issues were, general thoughts and what had been done already and minutes later Travis and Terry had everything hooked up, rolled out a towel and got to work. Job was done, in and out, less than an hour. Fast, knowledgeable and friendly service. They took the time to explain what was really going on and talked us through as they worked. A lady in the office who was rude form the start stated they would call to set up a time for service. They never called, one morning a tech just showed up and called from our driveway. I watched and listened to him on our cameras complaining and talking/mumbling about how we weren't home. We were told they would call back to schedule another day. After a week they didn't call, so my wife called in and was instructed that they would call to schedule a day. They did the same thing again calling from our driveway. The service tech was frustrated/annoyed that we were unavailable when I talked to him on the phone. I called into the store and was told I had to speak with the service manager but he was away from his desk. 5 hours later he called back. His name was Gary, who is by far the rudest most unprofessional manager I have ever spoken to. After explaining my frustrations with this process now taking almost three weeks he started talking over top of me and down to me. He would not let me say a word and started to yell at me and then he hung up on me so I called him back and he said to me, "we can do this all night." Asked to speak with the owner and then he told me he was the owner and hung up. Do not go to this place or call them they all have horrible customer service, which is driven and taught by the owner.
