After all, we had a stressful journey from Valencia that required us to transfer to a different train in Barcelona. Once we checked in and walked out of the hotel, I just pointed to this spot like there was no other choice. Fortunately it wasn't bad. It could've been because it's one of the waterfront eateries that draw passing tourists like Republicans to gay escorts. The menu was fully Italian and pretty robust with a variety of choices. We decided to split a couple of things. The first was the 14,9€ Insalata Cesar, a Chicken Caesar Salad they served in a flatbread basket (Photo 9). They served mixed greens instead of romaine. Although light on greens and grilled chicken, it had a lot of Parmesan shavings, focaccia croutons, and Caesar dressing. The second item was the 18,9€ Pinsa Pancetta e Tartufo, a surprisingly large flatbread topped with truffle cream, Italian pancetta, melted mozzarella, mushrooms, and black truffle pearls (Photo 10). It was definitely enough for two. All in all, pretty good for a dining impulsive choice. FOOD - 3 stars...overloaded Caesar but the pinsa was satisfying enough AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...we sat in the enclosed patio which was just fine for us SERVICE - 3 stars...a bit discombobulated TOTAL - 3 stars....you could do worse among the waterfront eateries here RELATED - Exploring Sitges? That also means I got to try a few things and everything was top notch. I loved my seafood pasta the best of course but the pizza was also really good and a perfect size for one person.
