We had a large group of ten and Sasha was able to capture great group shots, as well as smaller family shots, and solo kid shots. The pictures came out so beautiful! We will definitely be making this an annual family photo tradition!

From the beginning, he was very responsive and communicative about his services, expectations and things to consider for the big day. As someone who was planning her own wedding and did not have a coordinator, I very much appreciated his guidance and wisdom since he has so much experience with shooting weddings! He was very understanding and patient when it came to details regarding my timeline (which I sent to him only a week before the event). On the day of, we were running late in the morning, but Justin showed up early and even kindly stayed 20 minutes later than scheduled to make sure we could squeeze in all the group pictures that we wanted. Also, to both of our surprises, my uncle showed up with a camera, but Justin was very understanding and accommodating about the matter and made sure both he and my uncle were able to capture shots without getting in each other's ways. Justin did such a wonderful job positioning my husband and me for shots. We did not really come with any ideas in mind, but Justin had such a wide array of poses, both direct and candid, that we absolutely loved. He also did such a great job showcasing both of us individually and fluffing my train/highlighting the beauty of my wedding dress! Andrew, his son and the second photographer, was also so sweet and helped make sure the full effect of my veil was captured on camera. I am also so appreciative that they went out of their way and captured some special moments via video for us to have (we did not have a videographer). Overall, Justin and his team are extremely friendly, professional and flexible with the best possible attitude and careful attention to detail. I cannot believe the sheer amount of pictures that I received from the wedding day and how much time it must have taken them to carefully touch up and edit each and every single photo. Most of my pictures were taken indoors, but the lighting in the photos is immaculate. Truly, I am so grateful to have hired Justin and his team for my special day, and I would not hesitate to book and recommend him for any future photography needs.

I reached out to Sweet Me and they assured me that they have alternative shoots for older babies since they are more awake. I love that they come to your home to do the photoshoot. With being postpartum and a new mom, it was still an adjustment for me to leave the house. The thought of having to get everything ready on time to make it to a studio was not ideal. Having the photographer come to our home and set up their studio here put me at ease. Getting my son ready for the shoot at home wasn't as stressful for me. They set me up with their photographer Jennifer. She was so patient and careful with our baby that he slept through the whole shoot and we were able to get the newborn shots we hoped for! My baby is very fussy and easily wakes, but Jennifer had the magic touch! She was so gentle when changing our baby into different looks and even fed him when he almost woke up. Jennifer kept the environment very calm for him and also was accommodating when we wanted to include our own props in the shoot. The whole experience was wonderful and I can't thank Jennifer enough for doing such a wonderful job! Very professional but also maintained a friendly approach. It meant a lot that she texted me beforehand about expectations and when I had questions, she was quick to respond. As far as Sweet Me overall, their customer service is exactly what I hoped for. They were quick to respond both via email and text and I really appreciated that. I had an incident when receiving our final images after touch ups that they accidentally removed my son's birthmark. This was on me since I did not call out not to remove it, but once I emailed them, they quickly reverted the edit and sent me the new version right away. Highly recommend Sweet Me Photography if you're looking for an in home shoot! Pricing was great to accommodate for this! Thank you again for such an amazing experience. Weddings, regardless of how big or small the scope or guest list, can be nerve-wracking, stressful…read moreexperiences. There's always a litany of reasons, but typically, the most common unifier boils down to one element: the people involved. Unprofessional staff or say, more volatile family members or friends can make or break the experience and the memories. So, I'll stop before this gets too autobiographical and I'll add that, yes, this long-winded intro is my roundabout way of contextualizing Zhihan's amazing service: her amazing professionalism, excellent photography and, above all, her penchant for navigating trickier interpersonal waters were all highly appreciated by my wife and I (and my family!). Zhihan showed up 20 minutes before the time we originally gave her, and she immediately started getting a sense of the work ahead: which family members would be joining later, how many people were onsite at the courthouse that day, and she was also super-nice to our dog. From the first few minutes she started working, I could sense her warmth and enthusiasm. She got a sense of the relationship my wife and I share and sought to capture the essence of our relationship within that short amount of time. In between shots, she gave us enough room to breathe and acquiesced to our weirder demands while slowing down to give us honest, candid advice on which shots would work and what would work even better. I still look back on the great shots she took that day and I'm still all smiles. And then, the interpersonal aspect. I have two sets of step-parents, whose relationship to one another can be best described as poisonously lukewarm. Again, not trying to get too autobiographical (too late?), but it's a testament to Zhihan's intuitiveness and emotional intelligence. The way she worked to devote equal amount of time to each "faction" while ensuring the other group was being adequately communicated to for next shots really impressed me, and like I said, it really went a long way to putting some of my anxieties at ease. In summary, Zhihan was an absolute pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her for her professionalism, her passion, and most importantly, her empathy and ability to be a positive presence in an important family event. Awesome work, Zhihan, and thank you so much!
