My daughter's fiancé took the day off of work to be able to make the appt on a Sunday. HH told them that they would recommend this specialty food for the dog, a more expensive kind. My daughter went out and bought the specialty food and all the supplies that they would need. The staff at HH knew that my daughter lived a little further away and assured her that it would be fine to pick up the dog on Sunday. All week, we looked forward to finally meeting this dog, which was apparently the only dog they had that met their needs (good w/cats, quiet etc). On Saturday, HH called to say that the dog had been given to someone else. Needless to say, my daughter is heartbroken. When I reached out to HH they did not sound like they cared at all. Shannon has the absolute worst personality. Not one smile and I don't believe she looked at me once while I was trying to explain to her how to cut his hair. She obviously did not listen because all she did was completely shave him. A BEDLIINGTON COMPLETELY SHAVED!!!! i wanted to cry. His face was still dirty, his nails were not cut, his ears were wet, his tail was still in knots and what was left of his hair was not "fluffed" like a Bedlington. He looks like an emaciated poodle. They discharged me from their services due to a mistake they made. I was kind, only questioned the…read morebill but paid immediately. In their ban letter they claimed things that were not true. They did not tell me the cost upfront and when I questioned it management said that I should let them know how much money I have when I come in instead of them telling me what things cost before they do them. That felt offensive to me. Beware when dealing with management and always ask for detailed cost upfront. Ultimately, my advice is to go somewhere else. I have read other reviews like this about them so I guess I'm not the only one, I agree with Joseph O, very similar experience.

Due to a…read moremistake with a clerical error on their part (they entered both my email and phone number wrong) there was no confirmation of appointment. They finally decided to send me a letter, when I called to get it straightened out the manager told me it was my fault I didn't call & after paying them $300 I would have to pay another $200 to restart his Vaccines. She was rude, judgemental, and belittling. The point of my calling was to figure out the situation and make it right; but clearly, she was overly defensive because her office made the mistake. I am a manager myself and that is not how to handle a situation between paying customers/patients or clients. VERY unprofessional!
