And we're so glad we went with David! Everything was handled online or over email, and all safety protocols were taken for each visit. I can't remember how many places we homes we looked at before we found our first home. Each day, David lined up multiple properties for us, and at the end of the day, he took the time to really understand what it was that we liked/disliked so that he can better hone his recommendations for us. David was honest, organized, accommodating, and responsive, and it was clear that he truly cared about us finding the perfect balance between the home that we LOVE and the home that we can actually afford. He put our needs and wants first, and he definitely went above and beyond to make sure that we not only found a great first home, but that we also enjoyed the process from beginning to end as much as possible.

The Management Trust manages our community (Lakewood Shores) in Lakewood. I've served on the Board…read morefor the last few years, so I've worked closely with our property manager Anne Davis and am happy to share I feel she does a great job anticipating the needs of our community. I've found Anne to be informed, responsive, patient and professional, especially in the all-too-frequent instances when she has to deliver news that a homeowner probably doesn't want to hear. Serving as "the messenger" is never a fun job, but she does so effectively, and then follows up by communicating the homeowner's concern to the Board. It's not been completely smooth sailing with TMT, but as a Board, we've brought to them our concerns and they've been receptive and accommodating. I have the added perspective of working with a different, much more difficult property management firm for my day-job (I won't mention them in this review). It is in considering the challenge I face with them that I can better appreciate the working relationship I have with The Management Trust. This relationship feels to me much like a partnership. I appreciate that on countless occasions Anne/TMT has been a step ahead of our Board, advising us on liability matters, preparing our association for legislative changes, and even inviting me to participate in a training they hosted! I know it's easy for homeowners like myself to place blame in companies like The Management Trust when we are unhappy with something, even when it's not something they are in a position to address. If you remove that from the equation, The Management Trust has demonstrated they are a valuable resource for our Board and community. As our Board grows we continue to build our relationship with The Management Trust and I feel strongly Lakewood Shores is better for it.

Both the board and management company need to be replaced immediately with homeowners who truly care about our community and understand the meaning of partnership.

As first gen homebuyers, we were nervous about the process and wanted to make sure we worked with someone who truly had our best interests. From day one, Matthew exceeded every expectation. He was always available to answer our questions, no matter the time, and he never once made us feel rushed into choosing a home or submitting an offer we were not completely comfortable with. Whenever we sent him a list of homes we wanted to see, he was quick to schedule appointments and often put together routes of open houses for us to visit. My husband and I both work during the week, so our schedules were limited, but Matthew was incredibly accommodating. He consistently made time for us on weekends and even holidays so we could continue our home search. Throughout the entire process, Matthew was honest, communicative, patient, and genuinely invested in helping us find the right home. Toward the end of our search thanks to him we had two offers accepted in the same weekend and were able to choose the home that was the best fit for our family. We truly believe we would not be in our current home without Matthew. His negotiation skills were exceptional, and he was able to secure more than $20,000 in closing credits for us. We have already recommended Matthew to friends and coworkers and will continue to do so. He is honest, hardworking, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to his clients. We could not be happier with our experience and wish him nothing but continued success. Any client would be lucky to have him as their realtor.
