My mother and I visited The Room for back-to-back haircut appointments with Jessica, the owner…read more Jessica was very opinionated, loud, obnoxious and rude! Not to mention the bad haircuts....let's begin. First, she kept cutting me off when I was talking so don't expect to get a word in edgewise. Second, she doesn't have music playing in her salon, she listens to a police radio which is definitely not the vibe I like in my salons. Third, I have recently suffered from a sickness and she had the audacity to tell me I'd be fine and I didn't need to go see a doctor (several times, in fact, even though I never asked her opinion). I don't know on what planet a hairdresser thinks she's a doctor, but Ms. Jessica is quite full of herself for no reason I can see. Fourth, she only allocated 15 mins each for our haircuts which is not nearly enough time to provide a quality cut with quality service (and, believe me, she did not provide either). Lastly (and this really ticks me off), she has somehow rejected any reviews submitted by my mother or me via Vagaro where I booked our appointments. I am in touch with Vagaro to get my mother's negative review reinstated and I will be posting a negative review on that site myself. I suspect Ms. Jessica has friends and family provide positive reviews and has negative reviews removed, leaving a very inaccurate assessment of her establishment. DO NOT waste your money on this place - terrible haircuts (we actually have to pay someone more to fix our hair now, thanks for that), crappy management attitude, and even worse ambience. Jessica doesn't give you badass hair....it's just plain bad hair! Don't waste your money here, go see a professional who knows what they're doing - you'll thank me later!
