I mean look at the picture! My wife;e name is Autumn, and her birthday is in October, so Chef Tea just threw together this gorgeously themed cake with little instruction, and the price was honestly less than a few lattes at Starbucks. She will DEFINITELY have my patronage in future events. One more thing: My wife is allergic to eggs. I don't know how she managed it, but Chef Tea pulled this whole cake together with buttercream chocolate icing and the entire recipe had NO EGGS. Amazing. Top marks Heaven's Gate!

Heaven's Gate Catering and Lil Tea's Specialty Desserts are THE BEST!!…read moreWe first met this family at the Long Family Farmers Market in Stafford, VA about 8 years ago. After experiencing their incredible food and desserts multiple times, we were hooked. We have used their catering for holiday meals 5-6 times (maybe more...I've lost count). Started when we had family in town and didn't want to cook. Was so good, we started having them make our Thanksgiving dinner even when family wasn't coming in town! They are that good!! Love their lunches at the market! Asian fried chicken last week was awesome! (I heard jerk chicken and more are coming this season!) Teisha's lemonades are a given every week too! (Jamaican pineapple ginger lemonade is our favorite so far!) Chef Tea's desserts are second to none!! She has made multiple, VERY special (and tasty!) birthday cakes for our kids over the past few years! We rarely leave the farmer's market without several delicious desserts from Chef Tea. She always has something different every week and you can't go wrong not matter what you choose! Hummingbird cake, Nutella-stuffed chocolate chip cookies (and brownies), mini cheesecakes, blondies, toffee brownies.....the list is long and delicious!! Come to the farmers market to meet them and try their incredible food! Like our family....you'll be back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We tasted everything, apps, salad, sides, main course. Tracy walked through everything, table settings, colors, buffet or plated or family style. We went with family style. Tracy spoke with the bride and groom about a week before the event, and walked them through the timeline and asked all the questions and truly made everything personal to them. Taste of Elegance- on the day arrived, set up, did all the things that a Mother of the bride worries about. Food was the best I have ever had at a wedding. The wait staff were spot on, they were everywhere and invisible :) I can't say enough about our bartender, she ensured everyone had a perfect drink, Old Fashions was the couples' drink. She had my glass of wine ( with ice cubes the way I like) for me as soon as I walked to the bar. I had only told her the first time I ordered :). At the end of the evening they gathered, cleaned and packed up. With grace - professionalism they said their goodbyes and ensured if we needed nothing else from them!!! The next morning my daughter called from the airport, " when ate our to go meals as soon as we got to the hotel, Mom I'm so thankful -- Taste of Elegance remembered everything) Please if you are looking for a cater --- you need not look any longer!!! She patiently answered all of my questions and made sure my order was correct. I have never ordered from a catering service and I was nervous! I was so impressed that I am doing the happy dance. The brisket was tasty and they even sent over extra gravy for the brisket. The sweet potato and carrot side dish was mouth watering. Even on zoom, my family and I were trying to figure out the ingredients. It was delicious. The chicken soup had large pieces of chicken and carrots. They gave us a large number of matzah balls for the soup too. The chocolate torte was fabulous. I couldn't help from licking the knife as I portioned it out for my family. The delivery was excellent and the delivery person was wearing gloves and a mask. We were missing one item and I called Karla, she had someone deliver it within minutes. The portions were plentiful for 10 people and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend La Prima catering and I won't hesitate to order from them again. Thank you for saving our holiday celebration!

Anyone who's made a proper Passover dinner knows that it isn't for the faint hearted…read more Ya gotta have brisket. I'm not exactly sure why you have to have brisket. I'd totally be fine with a nice prime rib one year... but you have to have brisket. Your meal also must include no leavaners... rising agents... yeast... anything like that. Then you have to have *Charoset (basically an apple and nut salad) *Horseradish *It'd be weird to not have gefilte fish *100 other things Basically it's a pain in the neck. So just the thought of trying to shop and get all of these things in the current climate was mind numbing. La Prima Catering to the rescue! Luckily I am part of a group where local restaurants and food services are posting info and I caught wind that La Prima was taking last minute orders for Passover. The price was right, the meal sounded delicious, and the woman Karla even reached out to me after I asked a question on the message board. It was clear she was responsive. Let me tell you! They really killed it, to be honest. Everything we got was fantastic. The brisket was super tender and they included a TON of extra gravy like my mother had asked for. The matzo ball soup was quite good with tons of fresh hand shredded chicken pieces. The tzimmes (which I had never had before) was indulgent with a rich depth of sweetness that in itself deserves 5 stars. The meal also included charoset (I prefer mine with a little more wine flavor). And the flourless chocolate cake which was chocolate decadence in every way shape and form. It was rich, and chocolatey, and it was honestly a mousse like consistency which I didn't mind one bit. It was the perfect finish. Me and my fam did our first virtual Passover like many of us around the nation and it went really well. I might honestly lobby for us to just order from La Prima next year to save one of us the hassle. I would be totally fine making like one thing (maybe a potato kugel) and getting the rest from La Prima. It was that good. Thank you La Prima. Thank you for saving our Passover. Thank you for dealing with my Jewish mother (she's the one that ordered). And thank you for putting a lot of love into that food you sent. It really made our holiday.
