They could not take us into the couples room as they booked a walk-in. So the couples massage turned into us both being in separate rooms. that was no big deal but my masseuse stopped about six times to go out and talk to people answer, phones, etc.. whereas my husband had his full 90 minute uninterrupted massage. He loved it and will definitely go back. i'm willing to give it another try, but with a different masseuse. They need to work on the time management a little better though.

My husband has ongoing back issues, and massage therapy really helps to temporarily relieve some of the pressure and pain--and this session did exactly that. After a while she started talking in her native language, and to my surprise, the guy in the adjacent booth started chatting back with her. Talk about privacy and relaxation! The interaction was tense, dismissive, and uncomfortable, which is why I spoke up at the time. Whether that tone shows on "video" does not change how it was experienced in person. The facial also caused a major breakout. My skin is still healing! I've had plenty of facials before, and this is the first time I've ever had a reaction like this. I did not previously leave a positive review. This was my first visit and my only review. Instead of taking responsibility or apologizing, the spa is pointing fingers at me, citing "footage" and a supposed positive review that doesn't exist. Their response is ridiculous and only reinforces how unprofessional this business is. My original review stands. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've never had such a hostile and weird experience at a spa. I spent over $125 on a facial and $100 for two products for my birthday, only to find it smelled disgusting and when I looked at it more closely it was expired. From the moment I walked in and tried to return them, the receptionist was aggressive, rude, and interrogating, as if I owed her an explanation. When I mentioned returning the second unopened item (that wasn't "expired"), she treated me even worse. I literally had to say, "There is no reason to be so nasty to me?" because her behavior was so unprofessional. She then called the owner in front of me, framing the situation to deny the return. I was told she would "make an exception," as if the return was some huge favor. FYI, I was never told products were nonrefundable, and selling expired ones should be corrected without argument.
