It's so exceedingly rare to have such an actual human interaction nowadays with anything and yet, we got it from Amos and his family. If anyone reading this is looking for an addition to their family in breeds they offer, I can't stress enough that you should contact them. The accommodations, information, etc. were just incredible. On a practical side, it is unquestionably obvious that they actually care for each and every one of the dogs they have. Our newest addition to our family, Blondie, is such a sweet and energetic companion who just jumped into playfulness as soon as we got home - you don't get that from dogs that are simply raised for sale. If we ever decide to add to our family again, there won't be anywhere else to look.

Tilly…read moreChristian is a smart, playful puppy and was easy to house train with poochie bells when she was four months old. Tilly uses her paws to ring the bells when she wants to go outside my house to potty. She now fetches balls, toys & a soft frisbee. Tilly is a wonderful, thriving puppy with no health issues! She's now 8 months old, weighs 9 pounds and is 11 inches tall at her withers (shoulders). Tilly loves riding in the basket of my ebike when we go to a neighborhood dog park. I've had her groomed as a traditional poodle and recently with a teddy bear, puppy trim. She's adorable! Amos & Tilly have built a solar powered kennel with heated floors. The outside kennel area has artificial grass for the potty area. Plus a large, fenced in pasture for the dogs and puppies to run and play outside. I highly recommend Villa Crest Puppies as a safe, clean kennel and ethical dog breeder in 2025. Thank you for letting me adopt one of your adorable, female toy poodles. Tilly is truly a blessing!

Our dog is smart, friendly, eager to please and was the best / most compliant dog in every puppy training class we went to. (We did 12 weeks). In May, (he was born in August) he is between 85 and 90 lbs whereas when we got him he was much smaller than his brother. Our overall experience with this breeder's quality has been very good. The dog is AKC but you can't breed him and get AKC puppies without a special endorsement from the breeder. (Better to maintain quality puppies because someone like me doesn't know what she's doing.) Don't hesitate to check out their selection!

We drove 2.5 hours to meet the available puppies, and it was well worth the trip. Joe was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of our questions. He was transparent, professional, and offered his puppies at reasonable prices. Like many new puppy owners, I experienced a bit of the "puppy blues" during the first couple of days because it was such a big adjustment. Joe was incredibly supportive and provided helpful tips and advice that made the transition much easier. Micah is happy, healthy, and has brought so much joy into our lives. He gets compliments and makes people smile everywhere we go. In fact, one woman even stopped us to ask where we got him, and we happily recommended Sweet Dream Puppies. The property is peaceful, clean, and very well maintained, reflecting the care that goes into raising the puppies. We highly recommend Sweet Dream Puppies to anyone looking for a healthy, well-socialized puppy and a positive adoption experience.

She's learning so much and they have been very informative and helpful with training as well as development. I had not heard of Redfern before the rescue volunteer we adopted our pup from mentioned how much she liked them, and I'm so glad she did. Definitely planning to come back for more of the classes offered!

At the end of the first course, the Beginner Puppy class, we were presented with a certificate of completion and a beautiful packet of photos that they took - worthy of being framed. They also filled out the paperwork to be sent into the AKC for their S.T.A.R. Puppy certification. I am proud to have that certificate because it reminds me of my commitment to raising a good dog. I love taking classes at this place. I did sign up for a class at a different local business and can give a good comparison. At Redfern, we start out, sitting in a comfortable circle with our dogs and there are places along the wall where we can hook up to a chain so our hands are free, when needed. My puppy was originally very hyper so I welcomed the break from reigning her in. The instructors at Redfern are very patient and they follow a set curriculum. They are quick to praise baby steps and always made me feel like I was doing the right things be bringing Hero for training. Beyond that, they have been available to me for email support and that has meant a lot to me. I highly recommend Redfern Canines.

He'd been abandoned, left to fend for himself, and didn't know a single rule. Life at home was chaos. Desperate for help, we took him to Peacock Bridge Kennels for their two-week intensive training program. They promised they could train any dog. We weren't sure we believed that, but we had to try something different. Two weeks later, when we returned for "human training," we were stunned. Jack was calm. He listened. He was happy. It felt like magic -- but really, it was the result of skilled, patient, compassionate trainers who knew exactly what they were doing. Peacock Bridge treated Jack with care and respect, and they taught us how to reinforce his training at home. Yes, the program is an investment -- but worth every single penny. We can't thank them enough for transforming Jack (and restoring our sanity).

Pawsitively Pom Rescue is above and beyond a 5-star organization and the negative reviews left here…read moreare not only without factual merit, but a disservice to the whole animal rescue community looking out for the well-being of the dogs they so generously take in. This rescue is run by the most amazing, passionate crew. Their dedication to helping poms in their most dire times of need is outstanding. They always step up and give 100% to provide these dogs with a chance at a better life (even when that chance is slim - they NEVER give up). I adopted a senior pom a few years ago from Pawsitively Pom Rescue and they were properly cautious in their vetting/screening of potential adopters, but also upfront about what I was getting myself into taking on a senior loaded with health issues. I truly appreciate the vet check (including bloodwork, x-rays, and meds), spay and dental that they provided before I adopted little Paris. I had a nothing short of a "pawsitive" experience throughout the adoption process and of course, the pom that I adopted was a total sweetheart. As a side note, in my opinion/experience, smaller dogs tend to have big medical bills and it seems that when pet owners' poms become ill, they turn them over to a rescue. Because of this, I get the sense that most of the poms that this rescue takes in need some sort of medical treatment to get them back to healthy and it seems that lately their Facebook page has been asking for donations for various surgeries to provide a better quality of life for their dogs. I have donated several times over the years to this organization and am totally confident that the money I send to them is used to save or change lives for the better. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to this excellent organization via their website (and don't forget about your workplace's charitable match program, if you have one!). https://pawsitivelypom.rescuegroups.org/info/donate

A lot more people are rescuing now instead of going to a breeder, which I'm quite happy to see but it does make it competitive especially if you're looking at a specific breed. Fast forward to this rescue- we applied to adopt Ciara. We went through several interviews and a home check. They also suggested we foster her for 2 weeks before we officially applied to adopt, just to be sure the two would get along. We loved that they cared so much about finding her the right home and giving us a chance to return her to them if they really didn't get along. I appreciated that they looked at all the needs of the dog. Not just snuggles and treats, but will we give her enough exercise, training, structure etc. Does our current dog have the right personality for her? Will she enjoy a companion? Dogs need the opportunity to learn and grow, just like us humans. After we Happy met Ciara we found that they were a match made in heaven! They bonded immediately and seamlessly. They snuggle up to each other, play together and she has made all of our lives full of so much love. I think the reason this match went so well was because they bothered to investigate the details and I can't thank this rescue enough! They do great things.
