Horrible! We used At Home "Property Management" to rent out our home in Springfield, and they were awful. I don't even understand what I was paying them to do exactly, but they definitely weren't managing my property. They managed to leave me scarred for life, so I guess there's that. They approved horrible tenants who trashed our house, and they constantly made upgrades on our house without asking our approval. They even billed us three times for exterminators because the house became infested with cockroaches while the tenants they approved were there. We paid for the services because we live out of state and had no idea why there was suddenly a cockroach problem. When we returned, we discovered that the tenants they approved for us were piling their trash in the basement instead of paying for trash service, hence the roaches. Yep, I got to strap on a face mask and gloves and haul the year's worth of waste out of the basement myself. It took three rounds of the exterminator's strongest stuff to finally get rid of the roach infestation. It was very clear that At Home was just collecting their payment and not even checking on our home. If they had checked on it, perhaps they would have noticed before we did that our beautiful bungalow had been transformed into a drug den. The only reason we even found out the tenants had eventually left was because we drove by to check on it and found it abandoned, doors open, full of trash and cockroaches. At Home learned from us that the tenants had vacated. Again, I ask myself, what was I paying them to do, exactly? Their contractors charged way too much for services, and we weren't consulted about getting other bids or finding someone to do the work at a reasonable price. One of their contractors significantly damaged our property, and At Home did not share our concern, even though that had arranged everything. Communication was terrible, and we ended up losing so much money dealing with them. Do not use At Home "Property Management" to rent out your property!! I mean, do what you want. Maybe you like peeling former tenants' disintegrating used condoms from your basement floor? Maybe you enjoy paying people to do nothing? I don't know what you're into. But if that's not your jam, I would avoid this business like the plague I probably contracted cleaning up the mess I was left with after being a client of At Home.

Proceed with extreme caution if you decide to rent from this company and most especially if dealing with Kesha. We are a military family stationed in CA therefor, it makes it a bit difficult to find rentals out of state. My daughter and her two roommates found this company and a YouTube video of a property they were interested in. After filling out paperwork to lease the property, one roommate "moved in" on 17 July 2023, but was still spending a majority of his time at his parents home out of town. My daughter and I arrived on 16 August 2023 and immediately noticed several concerning issues with the home. These include mold on the ceiling, ill fitting exterior doors, spiders in almost every corner of the home, one inch gaps between the flooring and baseboards, mouse traps lying all over the floors, paint peeling with mold(?) in my daughter's bedroom where the walls meet the ceiling (every wall), the kitchen ventilation fan not being connected to anything except the cabinet above it, a giant hole leading the the basement under the kitchen sink, soft floors in the bathroom with spots that feel as if you'll fall in and not to mention filth everywhere! I called the office to request someone come look at the property and was connected with Kesha who would best be served not working in anything to do with customer service. She accused me of raising my voice and being rude for simply stating someone needed to come look at what we were seeing. Maintenance was instead sent out and Rob not only saw our concerns, but offered to go to the office to speak with Jamie (manager? Owner?) on our behalf. Instead, he was forced to deal with Kesha as Jamie was out of the office and Kesha could not care less about it all. My daughter and I drove there to attempt to speak with her and instead our concerns were belittled and she tried to place blame for all of the issues on the roommate who has been here for one month. She then stated my daughter should have known what the residence looked like based off the YouTube video. I had her pull up the video in tbe office only to find out it's two years old and when I began to show Kesha the video doesn't match what she moved into, she again blamed the first roommate. Please see the attached photos of this property and again, proceed with extreme caution because if Kesha is any indication, this company doesn't care about the residents, it cares more about its profit margins.

They know you only by an address. The property I lived at --village club--went through at least 15 property managers in the 6.5 years I lived there. Pretty much as soon as I would establish a rapport with one, a new one would start. The last summer I lived there, my toilet was backing up into my bathtub. So I was wading in sewage to take a shower. They took their sweet time to fix it, and by that time I was just done. They refused to give me any kind of break on the rent. Accord them, sewage in the shower wasn't life threatening. The most important thing for prospective renters to know is that the five star reviews you see on any given platform are 90+% LIES. Wooten gives a $120 rent discount on a months rent when a tenant renews their lease in exchange for that tenant writing 6 positive reviews. If that isn't deceptive business practices, I don't know what is. Don't rent from Wooten.

I call after another 2 weeks and am told they're looking at rates for cheap repairs, I did this research myself and offered them my findings, was told to wait 6-8 weeks. I call again after 9 weeks and am told they're not obliged to fix it and they're not going to when their property is unrented, and probably won't when it is.
