I relied on yelpers to guide my decision and I'm glad I decided to go with Courtney at Reflections. She's great at waxing and makes the whole situation comfortable and not awkward at all. The product she uses is great, I never got an irritation. I quickly became a regular customer of Courtney. It saddens me to have to leave and have to hunt someone new. If you're new to San Angelo area trust me there's no one else here that will give you quality service for the price she offers. I recommend getting your BZ wax from her. The place is very elegant looking great decor. The atmosphere is very relaxing.

Most spas have a certain environment attached, and while I expect the ambiance what impressed me was the quality of the massage. I went with a basic pedicure during both visits but they still give the BEST service for each offering. With so many different salons to visit in San Angelo, I couldn't be happier with the service I have received. I'm almost contemplating not posting this review because I want to keep this TREASURE to myself.... the Elite Yelper in me just won't allow me not to post. If you're wondering, they have a plethora of services available from waxing, facials, manicures, and pedicures! Make sure to see Cecilia on your next visit! Until the next pedi ~

And when I say phone constantly digging, I mean seconds apart. She did not bother to silence them nor did not bother to take her phone in the other room. When I showed her what I thought was a flaw, she explained to me quickly that she had been working there for 11 years that she was not done .... she didn't tell me that once or twice she told me several times. My feet are rougher than they are when I went in there. I have never had a Pedicure done quite so quickly. Her massage consisted of from the ankle to the bottom of my knee. She did get my feet for probably 45 seconds. I would honestly suggest that you find another place to go to to get a pedicure. I am so sadly disappointed. I never have written a review, but this one I felt was necessary.

Girl took it to a next level and matched my inspo exactly. She was so fast too. (And was even kind enough to get fancy when I asked her to take a photo of my nails) They encouraged me to try gel X- I have never had before but I also normally wear Press-ons (lasts me 3 weeks). So I'm excited to see how long they last.

There was gel all over my cuticles and globs underneath. It's been a week and 5 out of 10 have just popped off! No stress on them just POP! It seems like every time I looked out a new nail is gone! Before getting my nails done at Venus, I got my nails done in a spa in San Antonio Antonio. They lasted me about five weeks. Gel nails are the best nails you can do however, you need somebody that knows how to put them on not just says they do! So I just wasted $140 because they don't don't know how to put them on and don't, want to do anything about it. I don't live in town. I'm out of town and they should refund me but they won't! I was just washing my face and boom another nail popped off into the sink! I called the Nail Spa and told them that a week ago I got gel X nails and they're popping off left and right and the manager said there's nothing he can do about that and that that girl who did my nails is the gel X expert ... If you go to Venus nails don't get the gel X or if you do understand, they are going to do the worst job ever! I have had my gel X nails last without lifting or popping off for five weeks plus, but when an expert had put them on....

By 48 hours I had my very case of sciatica. Whatever he did to my lower back inflamed the sciatic nerve so I feel like I have a hot poker going down my left butt cheek into my knee and sometimes all the way down into my ankle. I tried anti inflammatory meds, ice and stretching exercises for almost a week before the pain finally drove me to pay $150 for an acupuncture session. That finally dropped my pain. By over half. I do NOT recommend this place. I would recommend that their masseusers attend an anatomy class however.

I really wanted to write a good review, the people working here are some of the sweetest but I…read morecan't recommend any blonde to this salon ever. The first time I went was for a touch up on my roots. That's the first picture below. You can see The highlights are EXTREMELY spaced and far too brassy in color. I'll add my hair had been toned and "glossed". Which I also don't recommend the gloss since I saw no real difference in the texture of my hair. After leavening the first time and breaking down after getting home, I called back and said I wasn't quite happy, they're we're very helpful and able to get me back in that week. Well, I go back and they added more highlight but now the top two inches of my hair is so brassy, and the rest is my normal blonde color. The best part is. I was told just to use a purple shampoo and it should start to blend it with the rest of my hair. If you're a blonde, you know purple shampoo does nothing if that hair was never lightened enough from the start. I have no other option than to just wait it out and see my normal stylist back home. If you are blonde, this is not the salon for you. It's really hard to find a stylist who can treat blond hair right and unfortunately this place is not it. The second photo is post my second appointment, the third is after the at home toner I decided to try in a last stitch effort to fix this mess. Mind you, I paid $180 for color, trim, toner, and "gloss". I paid almost $200 for my hair to be turned brassy yuck.

3.0 Stars Location…read moreOverview: You can find this establishment in the small shopping plaza next to HEB on Sherwood and Southland next to Nobilitea and Newk's Eatery. The overall layout of this salon is nice, there are not too many chairs set out for waiting for service. One of the main issues here is due to lack of the waiting area for services, people get lost in the mix of who is next and forgotten. Customer Service: The customer service here was good, it was just unfortunately when one of the techs could not do a design they would ask another tech to do it and I was left at a nail station for 15mins halfway into my nails being done and not being attended too. Quality/Quantity: After leaving almost three hours later the quality of my nails was fairly good. I do not have any doubts that the job could be done by any tech here, if so they will have someone that is capable to do so. Side Notes: I was a tad disappointed with this location due to being left with my nails halfway done for 15mins more or less.

The woman gave me tips on 6 of my nails, which wasn't something I thought of--so that was a nice surprise. However, no cuticle care was done. She basically went to work without cleaning up my nail beds. Also, her shaping was absolutely horrible. She was just rushing to get to the next customer. The photo is 24 hours after getting them done. It looks horrible. A basic manicure should and always has been the standard. I paid full price and didn't have time to complain about the crap service. I also left a tip...again, wasn't expecting a miracle...but I expected the basics. Never going back and not recommending to anyone.
