Even though I only booked one service, she was flexible with her time and allowed me to add on at my appointment. At my appointment, she explained her processes and products to me. She made sure I was comfortable in her space, which of course I was, it was so calming and welcoming!! We went ahead and did a lash lift & tint and an eyebrow wax & tint. The services at Timber & Willow are fairly priced and super reasonable considering the high quality of waxes and tints used. I have super sensitive & fair skin and was amazed that the wax left me with minimal redness. That speaks for the quality itself! I definitely would recommend services here, over and over again, whether you're super blonde with light features like me, whether you've got dark & full futures that you're looking to accentuate, or whether you've got any hair you want removed. First, the positives: the atmosphere is definitely a vibe! It's cute, relaxing, and has a nice overall feel. I also appreciated that the service comes with snacks, which is a fun little touch that makes the experience feel more elevated. Most importantly, I love how my nails turned out. My nail technician did a great job, and I was very happy with the finished product. Where things got a little frustrating was with communication. I requested a basic pedicure with gel polish and a gel polish color change on my fingernails. The receptionist mentioned that she was confused about my request, which caught me off guard because I felt like I was pretty clear about what I wanted. I also didn't understand why I was charged separately for removing my previous gel polish when I was getting a gel polish change. To me, removing the old gel seems like part of the process of changing the gel color, so I would have appreciated having that explained before the service. My fiancé also got a manicure for the first time. He specifically and repeatedly requested no polish. Unfortunately, clear polish was still applied to his nails. He didn't even realize it had been put on until I noticed his nails later. That was probably the biggest communication issue for us because he had clearly expressed what he wanted. Then, when it was time to pay, there was another mix-up. Our services were incorrectly assigned between our bills. Instead of me being charged for the gel polish change on my hands, I was charged for the pedicure. His manicure and my pedicure should have been on his bill, while I should have only been charged for my gel polish change. We didn't really push the issue at the time because it felt like trying to untangle everything was only going to create more chaos. However, it is something worth mentioning because clear communication and accurate billing are important parts of the overall customer experience. Would I go back? Yes. I wouldn't write the salon off based on this experience. My nails genuinely turned out great, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and little extras like the snacks. I think there is room for improvement when it comes to communication, listening to specific requests, and making sure services are entered and billed correctly. For now, I'd personally rate my experience around a 3.4/5. The nail quality and atmosphere definitely earned points, while the communication and billing issues brought the overall experience down. I'd suggest booking an appointment rather than walking in, and make sure to confirm exactly what services you're going to receive and the pricing beforehand. It also doesn't help to see that the receipts aren't itemized specifically to show the customer what services they received with add ons (if any). The service(s) on the receipts just reads "custom."

I sat here for an hour and 15 minutes while my sister-in-law got a pedicure and never got service. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if they're not going to honor the appointment. I have been getting my nails and toenails done here for years. The last four times I have come in here. I have waited way later than I should. I have left to get coffee, I have to go to the store. I have been understanding and accommodating. I am finished. I have spent thousands of dollars in this salon and I will never again walk through these doors again.
