Serena Paulus is by far The best organizer I have ever been blessed to find! She covers a wide area too! ( im in grover) Ok , Granted , I am a paper-aholic. ( ok to laugh but it is a recurrent and very challenging theme) I Save piles of paper and cant seem to file them anywhere. I have tried many times on my own but have been unsuccessful! At tax time i want someone to knock me out until June so i dont have to face my paper mounds. It cost me $$$ as Every year i pay my tax man extra to file an extension so i have more months to try and get my taxes organized. Beyond stressful! Further, Its gotten so bad that i sometimes buy a second copy of a book because i cant find the first one. Gosh! So , Im not a hoarder yet. But could be if i dont find some type of system! Enter Serena !! Yeah!! She has an easy to use file folder system and God knows she is so patient , gentle and non judgemental in working towards a solution that will work for me! Shes busy and She could charge alot more ( i paid more in Silicon Valley) but keeps her rates affordable so she can help those in need! Please appreciate her! If I could give her 10 stars, I would! Serena is a marvel and a delight. A true "Wonder Woman"! She is the epitome of hard work. She doesn't stop, and I don't know where she finds the energy. I worked with Serena for a year and a half when my parents began their downsizing journey from a 4500 sq ft home, to an 1800 sq ft cottage. They had a huge attic, garage, and garden, also filled with stuff. (It was all GOOD stuff, too! Just ask my mom!) Serena is grace and kindness and thoughtfulness all rolled into one. She was so careful with my moms feelings and requests. She has the patience of a Saint. She was present and mindful with every step. She ended up helping me drive them from cambria to San Diego in 2 vans with 2 cats and my parents. She then drove alll the way back to cambria to meet the moving trucks and prepare for the estate sale that followed. She then came BACK to move my parents into their new home, unpacked every box and put everything away and even hung the art and pictures. Her last act was to get my dad out of the storage unit he thought he would have to pay for forever by brilliantly organizing shelving in the new garage. I met an angel the other day. It's not often in life we come across true miracles. I feel like this was one I was given. I faced some tough decisions a few months back and it meant relocating my kids twice in 6 months. I didn't want to do it but my intuition said I had to prepare. I started looking for a place for my 2 sons and I. The rental market is fiercely competitive right now and I was lucky to get a one bedroom apartment. I had a choice to make. We could either be homeless when my 13 year old started summer school, or somehow we'd make a one bedroom apartment work. I chose the later. When I finally moved all our things in, it was overwhelming. I'm a single mom to two incredible kids and to make it though COVID I started working six days a week. I will not complain about our situation because I really feel blessed. I met Serena because of a Yelp review. We spoke initially for a bit and I told her a little about my situation. She came over shortly after and her magic started to shine through. I had no idea how instrumental she was going to be in my home. Not only is she creating a home for me and my sons but she reached out to all of you. I did not know she did this. I did not know what ALL of you did...for me. She called me today to see if I was home and when she showed up with a van full of furniture and decorations for my sons and I...my throat started to swell and I couldn't really speak. I've had to keep so much bottled up to get though the last few months; actually the last several years of hardships, that I couldn't express myself. However, I'm sitting here crying. Thank you to whomever you are for the wicker organizing baskets, fake plants and succulents, marble base, 5x5 box shelving unit, round back bay vase, wooden over the toilet cabinet, wardrobe, pillows, wicker baskets, & the list goes on. I'm humbled. I'm grateful. It's been decades but tonight I found myself humbled, on my knees. I cried hard. I cried really hard. I cried with thankfulness and acceptance. I cried because I realize each and every one of you is an angel! You have given, and thereby, blessed and cared for my sons and I. We are strangers to you. There are so many good people out there and we all need to know that. Thank you from the depths of my heart. I can't wait for my sons to see their home. I'm grateful to each of you. Serena. Serena has been a fabulous help to me in organizing my home. I moved here a couple of years ago and was buried underneath boxes and chaos, and I felt completely overwhelmed. Serena has an endless supply of energy and has helped me tackle so many areas of my home, starting with my pantry which was such an enormous help. She's helped organize many areas of my house and has even helped organize my garage. Additionally, she helped me create a photobook containing all of my daughter's elementary-school artwork. It's a treasure that my daughter and I both love and it definitely takes up significantly less space than all of her artwork. Serena to the rescue! I was not able to get to California to help my parents move and I was trying not to freak out; ok so I WAS freaking out! Highly recommended for ADHD people--Serena has given me at least an hour more a day and much more room for important thoughts in my head. And her systems WORK LONG TERM, it's been more than a year and my files, laundry room and sock drawer are all functional, my bills are getting paid and library books are returned on time. Working with Serena is therapy, a life coach and a spa day rolled in to one. When she leaves I feel like I can take on the world. My home and car are so much more peaceful now, and I have gained skills which have transferred to other areas in my life. Most importantly, nothing has crashed on to my head all year! Serena has an amazing depth of knowledge that helps so much with long term and big picture thinking. This isn't a "one size fits all" service, she is flexible and is able to approach unique challenges in many ways to find the method that will work best for me long term.
