We are excited to host thanksgiving dinner in our TN home, however, we are going to be arriving the night before . The thought of flying across the country with our dog and my mom, having a 2.5 hour drive from Nashville to Knoxville AND then doing all the shopping for the meal, the food prep ect....just really sounded like ALOT! I placed an online pick up order for groceries and the Sunday before Thanksgiving Roy picked up the order , drove it 45 min away to our home , put the perishables in the fridge and arranged the pantry items on the counter. It feels so good to know we are going to arrive with that big task already taken care of. Roy and I chatted on the phone as well as text and through those communication I felt really good about him being a nice, intelligent and dependable guy. The goal for each contestant was to pick the door with the best prizes inside. Two of the doors, however, were losers. Like that show, no one wants to open a garage door only to find clutter and mess lurking inside. I surely don't, but that's what I've done all these years. Every time I opened the door, I felt like a losing contestant. It was a mess. My wife and I resolved to put an end to that disappointment and made the decision to have our garage and patio floors coated with an easy clean and aesthetic surface. We called three companies for estimates and after all three providers gave us their quotes, we chose Tailored Living for our job. We also decided to have cabinets installed to hide the clutter. We were hoping for a beautiful, clutter-free project and they EXCEEDED our expectations. From beginning to the end, Tailored Living provided premier customer service. We made an appointment and they were ON TIME which is a rarity nowadays. The estimator, Keaton, was professional, wore a protective face covering, LISTENED to what we wanted, surveyed the project area and then provided a free estimate for the total project. We gave them our time-line for the project, they calendared us and before we knew it, the start day had come. It was a three-day process to coat the floors with a resinous flooring system called PremierNX. They offered around 10 different choices of coloring which consist of different colored flakes that are incorporated into the resin for an easy clean-up floor. The first process was to "grind" or smooth the cement. I was concerned about cement dust flying all over the place, but their grinding machines are equipped with a vacuum hose that sucks the dust into a bag. To my surprise, there was absolutely no discernible cement dust anywhere. The second process was a first coat of adhesive and a layer of colored flakes. The next day, they came and vacuumed the flakes that didn't stick and then covered the floors with the resin. It was so beautiful. Our garage went from the ugly duckling on the block to a beautiful swan (pardon the analogy but I think you get the picture). The cabinets were then installed and voila, our dream became a reality. This business offers services for floor coatings, concrete staining, floor polishing, decorative overlays as well as patterned and textured concrete. In our minds, we will only recommend this company for these kinds of jobs. Well Done! You've EARNED two devoted fans. You're the BEST!

My daughter recently moved her furniture to a storage unit after selling her house and looking to buy a new one. Since she is single, and I'm retired, she enlisted my help getting moved. I was the primary contact for all moving issues. We used a different company (not Clean Slate) to move from her old house TO the storage unit. They were "decent" but I felt a little used and abused by their add on charges after the fact. I started looking for a different mover when it was time to move from the storage unit to the new home. All communications were via text. Clean Slate did meet another movers price and since they had so many 5 star reviews, I decided to go with them. There was one problem, they showed up an hour late. I considered giving them 4 stars due to showing up late, but that issue was offset by the quality of the two young men that did our move. Both guys were respectful and took good care of our possessions. They worked non stop for 4 hours. They even let this old man talk their ears off! I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.
