I'm a decent size and very muscular, but very stiff. Many times females have not been strong enough to give a deep enough massage to get my muscles to loosen up. This was not a problem at Pure Massage. I had my back and hamstrings walked on, back and legs cupped (which actually worked), massaged and stretched. There were times when I was almost ready to tap out but at the end I felt great. If I'm back in the area I definitely want to go here again.

Not bc of the price but bc they're sneaky and dishonest about prices until you pay.

Most of the massage therapists do not speak English at all which is important if you do not want him/her to massage certain areas or how you like it. Almost always he/she leaves for several minutes without saying anything. They will add oil or stones without asking and then charge you extra. It is a convenient location and they are nice. Unfortunately their prices keep going up too.

They end up working on my back for about 45 minutes, until I spoke up and requested to please work on the legs more. They did so immediately after but only for about 25 minutes. For the back massage it didn't feel like much. They weren't applying much force or trying to push themselves. More like hands just running along my back. Arms and hands were neglected as well. Calming music in the room at 5% barely audible. The tip options presented to me were 20%, 25%, 30% I honestly considered not tipping due to the disappointing service. But they treated me 'alright'.
