The ease of booking online was great and I liked that there were time slots available for my needs. My appointment was with Michele and she made me feel so comfortable from checkin. She has many years of experience and gave me great breathing techniques to get through those moments (ladies you know what I'm talking about!!) she was really easy to talk through and even asked about my prior experience. This is the first time in a long time where my Brazilian was tolerable and I attribute that to the soft wax but also my waxer. Management never returned my phone calls when I called repeatedly asking to speak with somebody. And they continue to send me emails, reminding me to book an appointment for service they no longer offer. I have heard from former employees that management treats them poorly, messes with their schedule and has no respect for keeping customers aligned with the person who you have established a relationship with. To me this demonstrates a disregard both of their employees and their customers. I understand that businesses can choose to make decisions based on a variety of factors. I am not writing this review based on their decision. I am writing this review based on their handling of their decision, which, in my opinion could not have more poorly. Before all of this, I was happy with the establishment for years. i'm sure there are good people that work there who provide great service. She didn't have an e-certificate option available, but due to her unbelievable flexibility, creativity, and customer service, she managed to drop off a paper certificate in the mail that my mom found in her mailbox on her birthday. Fast forward 2 months. My mom wanted to use her certificate because she found out rather unexpectedly that she'd have to move out of the Tri-state area. I asked Elaine for her availability and she said that she typically books out three weeks in advance. However, she put my mom on the cancellation list and after a few cancellations, my mom was fortunate enough to make it into Elaine's Skin Studio three days before her move. Throughout all of these interactions, Elaine never showed an ounce of frustration or annoyance. She is truly a gracious individual who goes above and beyond for her clients, even her new clients! I called my mom after her facial, and she told me that Elaine was very friendly and knowledgeable. She remarked that the studio was pristine, cozy, and intimate, and that she immediately felt relaxed upon walking into the studio. She described the entire experience as peaceful and calming, and I'm so grateful for that since my mom had been in a frenzy trying to pack an entire house together in relatively short notice. Elaine also gave her some great suggestions to enhance her current skin care routine. Though I'm bummed that neither my mom nor I live close enough to drive to Elaine's Skin Studio regularly, I really do hope to go there one day to meet Elaine and pamper myself with one of her amazing facials!

They were able to take care of the knots in my back and the back pain of my mother. Lily was very careful in giving my mother a massage due to her cancer; she no longer has a right shoulder bone and has Titanium. Lily was so incredibly friendly and made us feel at home especially during this pandemic. They both wore gloves and masks and checked our temperatures before walking in. The second thing I liked was she uses a type of BLUE HARD WAX. There are no strips to pull it off..Its great for SENSITIVE SKIN. The wax is kept at a perfect temperature and I never got red, like when they use the strips to pull off the wax. Sammy explained STEP BY STEP what she was doing, and music was playing in the background.. One thing that Sammy does that I found very interesting is she waxes the outer part of your nostrils ( there is a small charge.) The wax is molded into shapes this can only be done with hard wax.. I decided to try it.. I couldn't believe how much better I could breath.. I must say Sammy did a wonderful job and I am completely satisfied!!! My eyebrows look great! Sammy even explained what areas needed to let fill in.. Afterwards I decided to use her restroom that too was IMMACULATE! BARE BIZZ WAXING is the place to come for all your waxing needs.. I won't go to any other place!!
