Dr. Tom was…read morerecommended to me by a family friend after I was venting about my dentist constantly talking to me about getting Invisalign through his office. I set up a consultation with Dr. Tom and right away I was struck by his sincerity and honesty. He assured me that my dentist was exaggerating and that my teeth would be totally fine without getting treatment. I ended up crying in his office, I was so upset. Dr. Tom took the time to explain all my options and the timeline of my treatment. I ended up going "old school" with wired braces and rubber bands. As a result, my teeth are perfect and I have never been more confident about my teeth. His office staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs as a busy teacher. I looked forward to my appointments every month! I want to shout from the mountaintops about Dr. Tom and I hope his business will continue to thrive!

I've been a patient at this office for a couple of years, which is why this experience was so…read moredisappointing. I was recently told I needed to see the oral surgeon, but the earliest appointment available was over a month away. When I explained that I was in pain, the response from the front desk was essentially that there was nothing they could do. There was no empathy, no attempt to help, and no referral to another oral surgeon who could see me sooner. Waiting over a month for someone experiencing dental pain is unacceptable. While I understand that specialists can have busy schedules, simply telling a patient to wait without offering any alternatives is poor patient care. After the call, I contacted another oral surgery office on my own. They were able to see me within two days and even offered a same-day treatment. That alone showed me there were other options that could have been suggested. What disappointed me the most wasn't the wait itself, but the complete lack of concern and communication. After being a loyal patient for years, I expected better. Unfortunately, this experience made it clear that once they couldn't accommodate me, they weren't interested in helping me find someone who could. I won't be returning and can't recommend this office based on how this situation was handled

When I left, I was not given any of the complimentary items (floss/toothpaste), I had to ask for it. I think I also had to ask at my last visit as well. Bloom Dental with Dr Lior Tamir and Staff has been a dentistry life changing experience. At the age…read moreof 11 I had a bad accident while playing football, breaking my front tooth and cracking another. As if that painful experience was not bad enough, the family dentist we were seeing left me traumatized to his manhandling painful dentistry style. After getting this issue resolved, for years to come, I was terrified of dentists to the point where I would have anxiety attacks knowing I had to go to the dentist and even worse on the actual day of the visit. Over the years into my adulthood I have had many different dentists and still experienced anxiety attacks for almost every visit every. visit. One day hanging out with my best friends Steve and Jodi, I was telling them that I was looking for a dentist. Steve excitingly started telling me about his experience with Dr Tamir and how gentle of a doctor he is. Jodi told me of all the type of work that they did and that she was extremely more than satisfied with the work they had done with her. I have been with Bloom Dental going on two years now. My first impression was the staff making me feel comfortable and at home, very easy to talk to, explaining everything in detail. They were very patient with me being reluctant at first to make appointments due to my bad experiences in the past. My second impression was how clean the office was, and very impressed with all the top technology equipment that they have. Then I actually had my first appointment with Dr Tamir and I cannot tell you how gentle, he was easy to talk to, taking his time while working on me and stopping several times making sure I was not in any pain and or discomfort. What a relief to finally find somebody who made me lose my anxiety attacks when I went to visit the dentist. In the last couple of months I had a tooth in my front smile that cracked and as if my smile was not bad enough, it diminished my self-esteem even more so about not smiling, and trust me for years I have had a very limited smile to not having good teeth to show off. I went in for my next dental appointment and and explained to Dr.Tamir about how I was feeling and he told me he could change that and told me all the options that we had. I chose to go with the veneers, and let me tell you what a life-changing experience it is when you can smile without embarrassment of how bad your teeth are. I am a conductor on a train and several of my regular passengers have made comments about my smile and how nice it was to see me smiling more frequently. My wife and daughter are now both patients of Bloom Dental. I would like to thank all the staff at Bloom Dental and Doctor Tamir for helping me overcome my fear of dentists and making me feel like part of their family. They have boosted my self-esteem, allowed me to take more selfies with my wife and show off my million dollar smile they have given me. More importantly I am not afraid of the dentist anymore, I know if I have any issues they will take care of me and I have no problem going to the dentist because of how comfortable they will make me feel and knowing that they can get the job done. I want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for putting Bloom Dental, his staff and Dr. Tamir into my life.

She helped me greatly with insurance billing questions and sat down with us to go over all the payment options that was the most beneficial for us. She definitely went above and beyond. Now, things are different. Theres one communication over the email with the treatment plan estimate and that's it!! I must've called and emailed a handful of times trying to talk to the staff. Once you get to talk to the right staff, you get a professional answer but nothing beyond that. I certainly expected more based on my past experience. Dr. Victor Lee and the team at Burlingame Orthodontics are the real deal!…read more I never thought I'd actually be able to straighten my teeth without traditional braces first because another orthodontist told me so. Dr. Lee made it happen, and then some. After a little over a year with Invisalign, the difference is incredible. My teeth and smile is straighter, but the bonus I didn't expect was how much my bite improved too. I used to constantly bite my lip and tongue, and that's just... gone now. Every visit, Dr. Lee took the time to walk me through my progress in a way that actually made sense. You never feel like just another patient moving through a conveyor belt, you feel informed and cared for. The staff is wonderfully friendly and seriously organized. As someone with a packed work schedule, I had to reschedule more than once and they were always understanding and quick to sort something out. Zero stress. A small bonus was their Nespresso coffee on the way out. Since I always came in on workdays, that little cup of coffee felt like a treat every single time. 10/10, highly recommend to anyone on the fence about Invisalign. Both of our children have received excellent care with absolutely no complaints. Frankly, Ess K.'s review says more about the reviewer than the office. The transcripts she so crudely included make it clear that Cathy explained the insurance payout process thoroughly and politely. To twist that into something negative or claim Cathy was demeaning is utterly inconsistent with her reputation and how she treats people. And a quick glance at Ess K.'s other reviews (mostly one or two stars for nearly everyone) tells you all you need to know. I'd take her comments about Cathy and Burlingame Ortho with a very large grain of salt.
