I had contacted them to have my septic service pump out. They couldn't give me a date but said will call me the following Monday to arrange one. Three days latter I see two very young guys in my backyard making holes. My wife told me they they seen confused. I talk to Dominick and he explained that they are looking for a pipe. I didn't like the excavation that they were making because we just finish seeding our yard. I call their office and JOSH says...if you don't like it call somebody else. Thankfully to his advice, some else came and made a 8 minute job. And explained to me that all the holes and mess they made was unnecessary because what they were looking for was clearly visible. Decent young guys came to clean out the pipe to our septic tank (they couldn't pump it, their truck was down). Was told our leach field/round leach tank was no longer working. It wasn't, so that was correct. Company came back to fix it. Dug around the tank, turned the soil over and added a couple infiltrators to get it working again. Loved the solution and it works. The problem is they were in and out in two hours, did sloppy work under the ground and left the lawn completely trashed. The worst part is they charged 3 to 5 times more money than anyone else I've talked to about it since. I knew I was getting ripped off but I didn't have the guts to stop the process and send them away. Live and learn. When I mention this business to other people, the response is, "well I don't want to say anything bad about anyone." I guess I do, do NOT call this company. read more

The attitude of the workers on-site was snotty and abrasive. While I appreciated the prompt service and solution to my immediate septic issue, the lack of customer service and poor attitude of the workers leads me to not recommend this company. There are other highly competent septic companies with helpful friendly staff. read more

As I'm in the process of buying a house, I wanted to ensure the septic tank was functional in its entirety, so I hired Septic Solutions. Septic Solutions came in and did half the job but charged me for the whole job. They chose not to inspect the pipe or D-Box in the field, which can be very expensive to replace. They said a bush was blocking it, yet I've called another company who said that's what typically happens, a bush can be in the way. Charlie and Frank were both rude and argumentative. Rather than refund half the money, they refused. I was never called during the inspection or informed that they were only doing half the job. I only saw it on a very short paragraph on my bill stating "INSPECTION OF SEPTIC BUILT 1992 1250 GALLON CONCRETE TANK GOOD CONDITION WITH ONLY ACCESS TO CENTER LID. BIG BUSHES ON BOTH ENDS WITH 22" OF OVERBURDEN. LEVELS ALL GOOD IN TANK BOFORE DURING AND AFTER WATER RUN . FIELD AREA HAD NO SIGNS OF FAILURE SYSTEM OS OPERTING AT NORMAL CONDITIONS BUT WE WERE UNABLE TO INSPECT PIPE OR D-BOX IN FIELD. AGE IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT IT'S AT THE LATTER END OF NORMAL LIFE SPAN AND SHOULD REQUIRE SERVICE SOON." They didn't even take the time to spell check as you can see. Stay Away! I needed to find where my tank is buried and clean it. Septic Solutions guys came and: 1. "found " the tank 30 feet away from where it actually was. 2. Said it is buried 4 feet under and they wont dig and show me the tank. It is buried only 20 inchs down. 3. Said it was metal, full, about to back up on me any moment and cannot be pumped out because will implode. It actually is a cement one, fully operational and was pumped clean by another company without any problem. 4 Septic Solutions sid I need to replace the tank and charged me $351 for this false info. 5. DTH charged me $360 to find the tank, dig and pump it clean. Septic Solutions will not refund me the money because they claim there is another tank buried where their guys indicated. I asked them to come and dig there. They say they are too busy. So no refund. Either jokers or criminals. read more

Septic Solutions was a bright light at the end of our very dark tunnel of failed attempts at getting both a professional and affordable company in our home we bought almost 4 years ago. My husband and I have been sadly missing the mark on great companies to review in the Hudson Valley since our move from the city. Our issue was an underground main line trap clog in the basement which multiple times in a month kept causing backup in to our finished basement. One company came and cleared it temporarily as did another weeks later when it happened again. No one offered more, and after costing hundreds and it still happened we tried getting over 10 companies in for the full job- only 3 picked up--one responded they didn't do the work, the other quoted us at too much money, and then Septic Solutions, owner Frank- actually answered their phone and proved to be so useful in giving advice, quoting us options by phone and offering to help immediately. Septic Solutions was recommended and we are so grateful they not only picked up the phone but came to do the job- woah- a company who did what they said they would do, professionally AND quickly, at a reasonable price. We finally found a business I'd call back- To Frank and team- thank you thank you! They made sure to explain everything in detail, send us photos, assist in other matters and cleaned up after themselves. For any other needs we have that this company provides, they'll be our first call, and they should be yours too! read more
