As a teenager I had always had full brows, brows that were well shaped, and brows that fully framed my face. They were natural and I received so many compliments. When I found out that I had this disease, the hair fell out quickly. I was mortified. My beautiful brows were gone, and the shiny skin where they once were stood out like a neon sign on my forehead. It was noticeable, very noticeable. I spent so much money on pencils, dyes for the minimal hair that was there, markers, and gels to fill in my missing eyebrows. Long story short: I lost all my self confidence. My signature brows were gone, and I hated waking up and literally drawing brows on my face every. single. morning. That is, until I found Ana. Ana walked me through the process. She worked out pricing, home care techniques, and asked what my end goal for my brows was. During the microblading procedure, Ana took careful consideration of my pain tolerance, of the shape and style of my brows all the way down to the color. And let me tell you...this woman is a pro. Ana told me that the way I had been drawing on my brows and filling them in was nowhere near my natural shape! I was shocked to see that when she was done, my brows looked just like they looked when I was a teen. I have been so impressed and thankful for Ana's encouragement and her skill in this procedure. If you are thinking of taking the step to invest in your brows, DO IT. You will not be disappointed! It is well worth the money considering I had already spent more money on the products to fill in my brows than the microblading even was!

Deeply Disappointed with My Experience at Angels Nail Salon…read more I visited Angels Nail Salon hoping to brighten my mood after losing a beloved pet the day before. I showed the technician a specific design and color I wanted--pink magnetic nails with heart details--but the result was nothing like what I requested. The color was different, the hearts weren't done at all, and instead of letting me know she couldn't do the design, she just continued without saying anything. My nails were also left uneven, with each one a different length. When I asked about using gel extender to improve the shape, I was told, "No, it's fine," even though it clearly wasn't. On top of that, the stickers were completely different--my reference photo had silver stars, but she used gold--and after only two days, they've already started peeling. This visit cost me $60, and I left feeling even worse than when I walked in. The lack of care, communication, and attention to detail was extremely disheartening, especially given the reason I came in. Only good thing I have to say is the pedicure was nice and I still tipped 20. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I wouldn't want anyone else to have an experience like this.

She didn't use any wax, just plucked my eyebrows to the perfect shape and kept the fullness of my eyebrows so she didn't over tweeze! The place is very nice, clean and soothing ambiance. If you live in Fort Myers and haven't been here, it's a MUST!! I've traveled the world and so far this location and one other place in Nevada are my two favorite places to have my eyebrows done!! It is unacceptable that I had to cut and file my own toenails after they pushed me off to an inexperienced tech after I made an appointment with a specific person to both my hands and toes. I have been to this salon multiple times without issue, but during my most recent visit I was treated unfairly due to a miscommunication between members of their own staff. Rather than acknowledging the mistake and working toward a solution, the owner and front desk employee were dismissive, argumentative, and appeared visibly annoyed that I raised a concern. Instead of providing good customer service, they chose to make me feel like I was the problem. The interaction left me feeling disrespected and singled out. Based on the dismissive attitude and microaggressions I experienced, I was left with the impression that I was not treated with the same level of respect and consideration I would expect as a Black customer. While I cannot speak to their intentions, I can speak to how I was made to feel. It's also worth noting that, despite visiting this salon several times, I have never seen another Black patron there. After this experience, I can understand why someone might choose not to return. I genuinely appreciate Ten's work, but customer service starts at the top. Because of how I was treated, I cannot recommend this salon and will be taking my business elsewhere.
