Based on my experience today ( Friday 5/12/17) . I was out running errands and decided to stop by Sephora ( Perimeter Mall) to grab some face wipes and to get and save my color IQ number. I usually go on weekends which is the most convenient time for me , but since I had a weekday off I decided to go sort of early (11ish ) in hopes that it wouldn't be so crowded and I'd possibly get a little more help . To make a looong story short , customer service was horrible. I asked a guy I saw standing by fragrance about getting matched so of course he got on the headset/walkie and asked if anyone was available, I actually saw and heard the person that responded she was helping someone at the moment, so I decided to browse a little plus test out the foundation I was interested in ( I seriously feel the guy with the blueish hair ( he looked great by the way awesome makeup / lashes) I felt he was really watching me we kept locking eyes and I feel he basically put the other cast members on alert or something as if I was shoplifting or something as he was talking on the walking and looking at me I saw the others began to look at ME . I felt really uncomfortable , I mean granted I had no makeup on and was super casual but I also didn't plan on going there while running errands but that's no reason to profile a person) Noooow back to simply wanting a color IQ number as I browsed and waited the lady that said she would help me , was helping lots of other people I spotted her as I continued to wait we'd lock eyes she'd say nothing at all this happened at least 4 times , I went back over sort of by fragrance and just stood there , she finally acknowledged me she was very apologetic and asked if I was in a rush I said yes and let her know all I wanted was an IQ match number so I can save it in my account. I was in there for almost 25 minutes it was the first time I ever felt so uncomfortable. I will probably just order online and continue to enjoy my Play Box deliveries. I work at the hospital not far from there as well as live nearby so it's convenient but This so called customer service left a horrible impression on me. read more

Every time I come into this store, there are at least 2-3 girls who brought their terrible attitudes with them to work that day. One blonde chick with a shaved head on one side and specifically the blonde with the high voice - tend to be the cashiers. They are clearly not meant to be working with customers as their tone and demeanor are truly off putting. As I stood in line both yesterday and today, I watched as high-voice treated each customer as though they did something wrong. I dreaded my turn. Luckily I got the other cashier, where I unleashed a $150 purchase. Come to find out when I got home, they advertised my product at the totally wrong price. Today I brought it back for a price adjustment and you would've thought I committed murder. I got pissed off polly the cashier from yesterday. Complete cu*t. I have actually never written a review and that's how awful her and her "manager" were. Making it out to seem as if I were the confused one and refusing to offer any alternatives. Just completely incompetent of having a respectful customer to associate conversation about what happened. It was instant chaos to them. Certain IQs can only handle so much at one time I guess. Have fun losing all your customers, grab some ice cream on the way home...life's not that serious crazy ladies. read more

ANDREW!!!! beats faces for the Gods! he did an incredible job on my daughters makeup for her senior pictures. He asked great questions, told me what he was using and taught me so much. The staff at this location are rude. I should have just gone to a different location. On a previous occasion I discovered that if you don't go in with a full face of perfect makeup, they speak to you in an infuriatingly patronizing way. I had to go in today to try something, and after I found it, I looked around for an employee for some further information and a sample. I saw an associate standing behind a fixture. She had just finished with another customer. I tried to get her attention, but she rolled her eyes and turned away. This is why I shop online nearly exclusively. Don't go here! read more

Normally, I like visiting Sephora - I usually go to the one at Lenox. However, I was at Perimeter last week and decided to wander in to pick up a few things. This is the first time I've been here since they moved. Not sure how long they've been open, but they seem to still have ALOT of kinks to work out. Trying to check out took forever. There were only 5 people in front of me and two registers open- and I was in line for more than 15 minutes! I think they also need to work with the salespeople on their customer service skills a bit more. As I strolled by the Phyto area, the saleswoman tried to engage, telling me (very loudly) that their hair mask would be "good for my colored hair." Okay, maybe I'm weird about this, but I don't think someone should assume or point out that a woman's hair has been color-treated (unless it's bright green or something, maybe). I didn't ask her about the products, I was just walking by and she yelled this out rather loudly, which I found slightly insulting. Maybe I was just being overly-sensitive, but it seemed quite odd. Towards the front of the store, another saleswoman asked if I needed help and I explained that I needed a brush roll for travel-sized cosmetic brushes. Although she tried to help, she clearly had no idea where these were and if they even sold them. She asked two other employees and no one seemed to know. HORRIBLE customer service. Know what you want before you go, as the salespeople aren't much of a help. Went to replace my tinted moisturizer, and they were out of a boxed set in the color I wanted. Waited 20 minutes while they "checked" in the back. Salesperson gave me wrong color on purpose just to get a sale and I didn't discover it until I got home. Salespeople act like you're bothering them and just stand around talking. Wouldn't recommend. Lenox store is bigger with much better customer service. read more

I was in this Sephora twice in 8 days, once on a Friday morning and the second time on a Saturday, early afternoon. The first time there were few people in the store and I walked around for 5 minutes waiting or someone to offer to help me. Staff were cleaning, doing their make-up, talking to each other. No one offered to help and I left. The following Saturday there were more people and no one bothered to help. When I did approach someone she told me I'd have to wait, I did and was eventually, reluctantly helped by someone with so little interest I left w/o purchasing anything. I thought it was because I'm middle aged but my 20 something daughter had exactly the same experience. The staff at the Lenox Sephora barely let you walk in the door before they're helping. I will never go back in this store. The staff are rude and completely unhelpful. read more

Love this store. Sometimes their prices can be a little high compared to others but their employees are always so nice, I'm happy to pay a little extra to support such a wonderful staff. The skin IQ thing is really cool. I know nothing about makeup and their employees are always super patient with me and are knowledgeable with regard to all of the products. I had my skin IQ done to day by Nika (I hope I spelled her name right), and she was so friendly and helpful. Great experience. read more

I was in yesterday and I have been looking for a very specific lip color for the longest time with no luck. I have been feeling like maybe it's a color I made up in my head that no one actually makes and I'll forever be mixing colors to get it! So I had a million test colors on my hand when I was approached by Melanie. She listened to me try to explain what I was looking for, and helped me pick out a few shades to try on. All of them nice, but not quite what I wanted. She told me she would be right back as I was scrubbing my lips off and she came back with a color that I would have never tried because it looked a bit too brown, but she insisted that I give it a try because it would look less brown once I have it on my lips. It was a miracle!!!! She found the perfect color that I've been driving many people crazy about!!! I must say that Melanie is a great asset to that store. Her customer service is amazing, she is honest and patient. I will always go back to that store because of Melanie! read more

I love the girls at Sephora Perimeter! They are friendly, professional and will give you all the time you need to answer any questions. My girlfriend and I spent 2 hours there and we felt like we were at girlfriend party! They have tons of products to choose from. Of course we left with tons of new products to try...:) read more

This store is a bit smaller than the other Sephora's that I'm use to. But the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The store is always packed, the lines are always long and they seem to be a bit short staffed at times. But it's a fun store to browse, just look around, sample different things and find your way! The selection isn't as big as Lenox, but you can still find what you need! read more

I had the worst experience at this location. I went in early in the day, right when they opened. There were about 5 people working but no one was able to help me find the right product. They kept saying "Someone will be with you." Finally after 20 minutes of wondering someone comes up to me and has me sit in the chair. She then proceeded to find my shade in a foundation I wanted to try. However she took 15 minutes to get back because she was busy helping another customer who just walked in. She proceeded to test the shades. And I ended up not like the brand. I asked if we could try a different one and she told me she would need to ask her manager and I should walk around while she helps other customers. I did as I was told. Another person came by and tried getting me to buy powder foundation and kept putting it on my face even though I repeatedly said I do not like powder and prefer liquid. However I continued to wait after that for the first person to get back to me, but after waiting another 30 minutes I had enough. I walked out. Im a huge fan of sephora and the other locations I have been to have been extremely helpful, this one however seems to not care too much. I had walked in hoping to buy a new foundation, bronzer, blush and concealer. Spending over an hour in the store just waiting and not being able to find a product was very upsetting. read more
