I had wanted to try egusi soup and fufu for years (thanks top chef) and I was finally able to right in the middle of cornfield, USA. I can't even begin to explain how yummy this was. I got a large serving of goat egusi and plenty of fufu for the dish. It came out hot, and fresh. I don't handle spicy things very well an I thought the meal to be absolutely tolerable. Seasoned, but not spicy. My date got the beef skewers with plantains and they were equally delicious. I can tell they make everything fresh, so it's not necessarily a quick "pop in pop out" eatery, but if you have 2 hours to slow down and eat a great meal, I highly suggest this restaurant.

The servers were very friendly and helpful with food selections, the also attended to the table as needed. The food was phenomenal. We had 3 entrees and the combo appetizer platter and it was $67. That isn't bad. We brought back 4 to go boxes. We ordered medium spice, which was a tad much for me. It wasn't so hot I couldn't eat it but I should have asked for it to be taken down a notch. However sinuses are clear as well, so I'll just count that as a bonus :) Food was wonderful! Portions were huge! Servers were friendly and helpful! The area was clean, but more diner style, but for the price we didn't expect anything except clean. Would def recommend!!

The food was not so great. When I received my egusi and opened it I was shocked at how brown and oily it was. It also smelt a bit burnt. I still ended up paying because the service was great but I hope someone sees this and the next time I come, their food matches their excellent service.

Our guests were completely delighted with the samosas (both vegan and standard), the naan bread, the Classic Butter Chicken, the (vegan) Chana Pindi, the Chicken Chattinad, rice, and both green and avocado salads. Everything was delicious and there was nothing left to to box up afterwards! I highly recommend this restaurant for both dining in and take-out/catering. Please note: they can deliver catered food (in the proper chafing dish-sized aluminum pans) to your event, or you can pick it up yourself. However, they currently do not offer the chafer stands, sternos, serving tongs/spoons, or staff for your event. Hopefully though, their business will boom and they will be able to provide those services soon. (And UIUC employees can use T-cards to pay for catering/meals). All said, Bobby and his staff are very kind and helpful-- you should definitely check them out!
