If you need a home inspector in Louisville, you need to call this guy!…read moreI have used ABI for 3 inspections on 3 different homes. The first time I met Ben, we walked into a home together and he discovered a major issue within 90 seconds of being inside the house. He understands house construction methods and the issues that can arise when things aren't proper. Thorough, knowledgeable, professional... everything that you need in a home inspector. Would give 10 stars if possible.

My Husband and I would ask Matt questions and he never looked bothered, and answered our questions. He was so pleasant to talk to. He took his time looking and everything, we believe he did not miss a thing! Gave us some resolutions on some stuff. He was just all around PHENOMENAL!! Mary Anne is a Maglite-wielding, home inspection ninja!…read more Never purchase a home without an inspection, and make sure you are confident in your inspector. The first home that we were considering buying turned out to be a potential money pit with ~$40K in repairs that would have been needed just to get it livable. Mary Anne found those issues and saved us a ton of cash. Her positive review of the next home has helped convince us to go forward with the purchase. If you can be there during the inspection, I highly recommend it. She is all over the house and crawls into tiny spaces that could easily be neglected. Potential problem areas are pointed out, photographed and documented via a room-by-room full report delivered in short order. She really knows her stuff and can explain where a problem lies, what to watch, what the most likely fix is, and can recommend contacts around the area to help you get the job done right. I don't have any previous experience to compare the service of Home Inspections of Kentuckiana against, but with the thorough work at a reasonable price, I don't see myself wanting to try anyone else.

Come to find out, we weren't dealing with mice but with Norwegian rats (viking rats!!!!), and the exterminator also pointed us to a raccoon living in the attic (ew!!!). I hate that I know way more about both of these creatures than I did before, but I'm thankful that Perks WorX had such information to impart. Their prices were the best I found, and they were able to get our rat situation (again, ew!) under control, and we have a plan for the raccoon. I was also able to text them questions throughout the process. While I hope I don't have to call an exterminator again when another pest situation arises ... I'm glad I know of a great company to reach out to.
