My former bank was merged into this new Magnifi Financial Group but with that merger came Better Mobile Banking, More Locations, 24hr Deposits and as far as the Waite Park branch, some of the best customer service I have experienced anywhere. I'm 55 and I've worked in customer service for over 35yrs so when I say this branch delivers the best, I say it with experience! If I hadn't been merged to this bank, I would choose this bank over and over again just because of the customer service I have consistently received. Great Job Everyone!!!

They continued to take $5 in bank fees out of my account each month with ZERO activity until I went into the negative. I have a negative balance of $5 now. I tried to transfer money in but now the account is closed. I asked them to be courteous and waive the $5 and they refused. I talked two 4 different people and all of them refused to refund $5. I asked them if it was worth keeping the $5 over getting a disgruntled customer would is likely to post a review. They did not respond with an answer. They are the worst fee based credit union I have ever used. The people are very nice until something goes wrong. Then they act like a for profit bank that isn't for the people.

I was told they would have to suspend my card. I told them I had a family emergency and I needed access to my money today. I needed money today and they could suspend the next day. They suspended my card my card any way and do not have access to my money. I am changing my bank and closing my account with them. I know my little money doesn't make a difference to them, but it's the principle. They only care about their rules and don't care the customer. I even said to suspend tomorrow. They suspended today. NOW I AM SCREWED.

I hate doing business with financial institutions that charge you late fees for ridiculous reasons…read morelike a difference in time zone. I spoke with Trey, Agent ID YXL133 today to ask for a removal of a late late due to EST and CST difference. He refused to remove it , because I apparently had a courtesy removal sometime this year already. The initial agent and Trey, the supervisor gave me two different dates to verify the actual removal given to me. Extremely suspect. I have been a card holder for over 10 years, this was not taken into consideration at all. I paid on the due date, just not before 8pm EST. I would not recommend opening up an account with a bank that you're loyal to, but doesn't extend the same appreciation to its long time subscribers.
