I am not a massive fan of the patriarchal force in this society that encourages women to make themselves look any different to how they do naturally, in order to feel sexy. However, I do own the odd pair of lacy pants (cue the Churchill dog voice..steady now) and I admit that I enjoy having nice underwear. But, 'nice' is definitely a matter of opinion. To me 'nice' means not falling apart at the seams and not 500 year old massive 'Bridget Jones style' granny pants (we all have them, unfortunately), obviously. But at the same time I don't think lingerie should have to look like it has fallen out of Katie Price's back pocket on a trip to Ibiza to be 'nice'. Slutty and cheap in my opinion resembles a barbie doll (which as you know is a toy) and only labels the wearer in question as harboring all of the above as traits. Unfortunately, the produce sold in Sensual Options is just like this. With pink tacky bra's laid over fake plastic bottles of champagne in the window, and a bright pink tape measure to match. Another retail fail.
There is always room for lingerie, but it should be done with style. I would recommend something a bit more Dita Von Tease than Jordan. Sophisticated , burlesque garments are much more tasteful, and women wearing such threads look exquisite, stronger and sexier, and much more like the women of today should feel. read more
