I got married last summer...Out of about 5 DJ services I chose Bobby at Sensational Sounds. He seemed professional and to have upto date equipment. However, the service I received on the day of my wedding was not at all what I expected. The DJ's did not show up until 5:55 and the wedding was suppose to start at 6pm. I had confirmed with him a few days prior for the third time that the ceremony location was changed by the hotel, however this was obvisouly not conveyed to his staff because they were set up in the completely wrong spot. They were setting up their equipment while all my guests were being seated, not to mention no music was playing. Then we had to que them to play certain songs during the ceremony. At the wedding, the began playing our first dance song as our intro song and when we were being introduced, the DJ introduced us with the WRONG name. Mr. and Mrs..... very embarrassing. The DJ's made up for some of our frustration throughout the evening by playing some of the right music.
My wedding was blast and the best night of my life. The most frustrating part was dealing with the owner after my wedding. He never contacted me to apologize for my concerns, and when I reached out to him, he was very defensive and almost rude, turning everything around on me. I requested that he refund $400 for my wedding, since it started late because of his staff and all the other mistakes, but he refused and would only refund the money we tipped the DJ's and another $100. I was very disappointed in his service and I would not recommend someone else taking the chance. read more
