She is meticulous with her cut after listening to me describe what I am looking for. And the result is a haircut that I just love. It's exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately to get there I have to go over the Mount Hope Bridge and there was construction (or an accident) turning it from a 25-30 minute drive to a 1 hour 20 minute drive. I called to let them know I wouldn't be able to make my appointment slot. I offered to come later but they said it would run past their closing time, which I totally understand. However, their days and hours are not great for folks that work 9-5, so I wasn't able to reschedule my appointment until 10/20. I then found out that the sale I'd booked under (and because of) couldn't be honored and that I wouldn't be able to get my deposit back. I guess just be mindful that even if something entirely out of your hands happens, they will keep the deposit and won't honor sale prices. I think I just might not be the target audience since I work full time and can't afford the full $185/appointment-- that's on me!

I am extremely picky, considering I tried all over town getting haircuts that didn't meet my expectations. I've always used Diane; she does a great job for me. I have not had Sue or Paula, but I hear good things about their work; my girlfriends family uses them both. They are also taking the necessary precautions during COVID. Each chair has a hanging barrier, to isolate the chairs. After each use, I've seen them disinfect chairs, equipment, etc. Very reassuring to see them take it serious. Also, the location is perfect. It is a part of a small shopping strip with plenty of parking. Perfect location. I will continue to come here for many more years.

For some reason it stuck with me, so I knew I wanted to find a salon I felt truly comfortable with for this special occasion. I had a WONDERFUL experience with A Hair Story Salon leading up to and on my wedding day. I needed two hairstylists who could travel on-site for the big day to complete hair for me, all six of my bridesmaids, and my two nieces. Tara and Mandi stepped up to the plate and the rest is history! I travelled to the salon in Fall River for my hair trial and was impressed with the setup they have going on there. Very clean, very professional. Space for my mom to sit nearby to help provide feedback to land on the hairstyle I was looking for. Tara walked me through the process and gave me some tips to best prepare my hair for the actual day. The morning of the wedding, Tara and Mandi were prompt and prepared and got to work right away. In the blink of an eye, everyone was done and looked fabulous! Both were very patient with me as I fretted over a few details of the final look. They stuck with me and made sure I was truly happy with the final product. And that I was! My hair was EXACTLY what I had been hoping for in the months leading up to the wedding. Everything about it worked and the style lasted the entire evening. I highly recommend this salon (especially Tara and Mandi!!!). They were a pleasure to work with... and reasonably priced too!
