The agency has been completely flexible with us; has provided dependable care givers as well as continual support for myself as a primary contact. Over nine years we had some bumpy spots, but they were immediately resolved and handled confidentially. I've recommended Home Instead to many friends and family members. I think they're wonderful!

By the time we had the Hospice team visiting weekdays I had made two wonderful friends with the team. I can't even imagine our nurses not being there to help us medically and spiritually and emotionally. I miss the nurses and do wish them well in their profession. I highly recommend Residential health care and hospice care. My family and I learned a lot about health care, ourselves and our mother whom we all cared for until she passed. Our many, many questions were always answered, supplies were ordered and delivered to our doorstep, care and concern were highly given and I am at a loss on words to say how thankful we are for their services.

My mother lived at Country Meadows for 17 months, under their Independent Living Signature program…read more Unfortunately, we had to move my mother elsewhere when Country Meadows decided to eliminate the IL program, which would have meant we would have had to pay an additional $2,000/month just for someone to administer her medications (the only service she needed) . . . ridiculous!! Then they tried to tell me I only had 3 weeks to move her out, or pay the extra money. Too bad for them I pulled a copy of the lease which said they had to give me written notification AND give me 30-days notice. After I sent an email to Michael Leader, the Mechanicsburg mgmt called me and was not very happy that I went over their heads. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Country Meadows!! They took fantastic care of my mother, and we will miss them. But, I cannot say ANY good things about the management! The Executive Director, Amanda, and the Director of Resident Services, Olivia, are shady and incompetent, and don't care one bit about the residents there. They only care about money! It's so bad that most of the staff don't trust them either! More than once they tried to pull a fast one with me, but luckily I kept copies of every email, every document they sent me. So any time they tried to pull something, I'd call them out on it. I think it's safe to say they didn't like me very much because I didn't put up with their crap! So, if you're thinking about putting a parent in Country Meadows, you'll be very happy with the personal care they'll receive. But make sure you keep copies of ALL communications with management and DO NOT let them push you around!! Ultimately, you know what's best for your parent, so stick to your guns! They will try to convince you your parent needs a higher level of care, just so they can make more money. As much as we will miss the staff at Country Meadows, we were very happy to get out of that place!!!
