Updating review. Our family member has been at the Auberge for over a year now, and the service…read moreand quality of the place just keeps getting better. They do so many extra's, like prime rib Christmas Eve lunch with a bar and appetizers for residents and their families. Lots of activities for residents to participate in. The staff are just so caring, and work really hard at taking care of everyone. We are very pleased with the level of care at this facility.

I would not recommend this facility to any family looking for a place for their loved one. The executive director does not pay attention to staff and the staffing crisis, leaving residents neglected and unheard when they try to come forward about problems they may be having. This building is full of family of the executive directer causing staff to feel like they are not able to come to their ED when a problem arises due to backlash they have received prior. The Auberge is a dangerous place for family to bring their loved one when the ED comes to work drunk and crying about her home issues. There were many occasions Tiffany the executive directer would say "I popped a lorazepam" or "I drank so much I am still drunk" and leave work early or cry in her office or bathroom. Tiffany is very unprofessional and unconfrontational. When a problem arrises she will ask someone else to take care of it so she doesn't have to be the "bad guy" or she will ignore the person that came to her with the problem after telling them that she will deal with it later.

I definitely do NOT recommend this place for anyone that you love. If I could give negative stars,…read moreI would. We had to send my dad here and about a month into his stay, he had to go to the ER @ St. Patrick's because he was so sick. Turns out he had pneumonia and a very high fever, which went undetected at the Village. Probably because they just left him to rot in his bed. He wasn't able to walk, due to a tumor, and St. Patrick's found multiple stage 2 bedsores on him. He passed away at St. Patrick's from complications caused by fever, pneumonia, and a virus that he contracted while in his weakened condition. I blame the Village for his death because if they had been checking in on him like they are SUPPOSED to, he probably wouldn't have gotten so sick and weak. They can't deny they neglected him because he had bedsores from never being moved. Other signs of the Village's neglect and negligence: My sister visited a couple of times and once he was covered in food because they had left him in a laying position (because his bed was broken, and they didn't attempt to fix it or switch it out while he was there) and dropped his food tray on him and went away, so he was trying to eat all by himself, laying down (probably contributed to his pneumonia). He was also wearing soiled garments because nobody had been in to change him. My sister said that our dad told her they only bathed him about twice a week. Combine this with the fact that they let him get covered in food and waste, and it is intolerable. Our family was in a desperate situation because of my dad's tumor and how quickly it advanced and we felt lucky to be able to get him into the Village, but had we known what an AWFUL place it is, we'd never have sent him there. Please do not trust the Village to care for your loved one. I wish we hadn't.
