You know a (Portuguese) restaurant is good when its where your co-worker from Lisbon goes every year for his birthday dinner.
Rule #1: There is no "menu", there is a list (a blackboard) of daily prepared dishes. Do not worry, all of them will be good. Just follow the board top to bottom. The waiters are extremely nice, speak English, and can help you debunk any questions about the dishes.
Rule #2: Despite the $$$ rating, this is one of the most relaxed restaurants I have been to in Vienna. The last time I was here, some guy brought his dog inside (yeah, yeah normal in Vienna- keep reading) which accidentally hit the lady next to him who just happened to fall on the handsome dog owner's lap. Next thing you know, its a festival of love. Mama mia, is this is a soap opera or what?
Simply put, Senhor Vinho is not your standard $$$ restaurant, but an experience every time. read more
