It has been over a month and when I called to check the status of the reimbursement, they stated that my husbands has been issued but my daughters is still being looked at. I asked if I could speak to someone that is actually handling this and was told that it is a big corporation and that it isn't handled in office. I asked for that person and was told that the office manager can call me back when comes back in 2 days to discuss this. They don't normally issue checks back for overpayment, they usually just leave on the account for future use. Why would they think it is ok to keep that much money? good dentistry, bad staffing and billing.

Her cleaning was rescheduled. My wife took a day off work. At 7:30 am the morning of the appointment, they canceled it. Apparently only one person is certified to use Nitrous Oxide. Sadly, I recommended this practice to my wife. I have left it as well, because they do not respect their patients needs. Another practice has managed to meet her needs.

We were made to sit in the waiting area for an unreasonably long time, only for the staff to forget about us entirely. When we finally inquired about the delay, they laughed it off, which was incredibly unprofessional. We were told by Robyn he was too busy to see us and someone would call us. To make matters worse, no one ever followed up with us or offered an explanation for the oversight. This lack of respect and poor customer service is unacceptable. I got in for a check up right away, and had two teeth in serious shape. They scheduled me for a cleaning but before that came about, one of my bad teeth became very painful. They got me in right away for a root canal. It turned out that the tooth could not be saved, and it had to be pulled because it was fractured. Not what I would call a fun day, but Dr. Patel and Sherry, the hygienist and assistant, made me feel very comfortable, and the office staff was very accommodating and helpful. Unfortunately, I'll be seeing a lot of them!

Just get back today from a quick root canal follow up visit with Dr. Burgener @ Wheaton office ... Couldn't be more happier with the result of root canal.( All the issues with tooth were fixed in just one previous visit ) ************************************************************ Below more details: ( For patients whoever want to know more) The Situation with my tooth was complicated (before root canal).. During the first visit , Dr. Burgener immediately point out there was serious Periodental Pocket around the tooth..If it is left untreated.. The tooth probably can not be saved eventually (even after root canal)... From that moment , I realize why she become Excellent Surgeon..(Looking at the root causes of a issue, foresee all other problem in the mouth that will cause future root canal failure...) Gum issues/ Disease is a different function(Periodentist) I was expecting her to say " After Root canal.. Suggest to see Periodentist) But she never say anything like that... To my surprise, As a talented Endodontist, She come up with a creative solution( Special filling with medication to cover the gum area).. So here I am , Within 2 Weeks after root canal.. My Gum @ that Problem tooth area come back( almost fully recovered) As we all know, Periodental pockets / Disease are difficult to treat...and very very slow recovery.. or in certain cases.. Can not be reversed at all. I feel I owe Dr Burgener a Big "Thank you".. She fix both the tooth problem( Root canal) and Periodental issue( Gum Pocket) in one visit for root canal.
