Two employees, who i assume are related were having dinner at the counter, a huge bowl of Asian food was being displayed for customers to see. that wouldn't have been an issue but the fact is that one of them, who happens to be a senior literally yelled at me for approaching the counter to pay requesting assistance. Not only do they not greet you properly but the few words they may speak to you happen to be not English. on top of that i had to ask the old man who was going back to his bowl of food for my receipt. and don't expect to receive a thank you from their part or a good day at all. luckily there is another beer and wine store across the street with a much better customer service and will to attend you.

I recently purchased a box of wine without checking the date on the packaging beforehand. I understand that part was my responsibility. However, after taking it home and opening it, I poured a glass and immediately noticed that the color was much darker than usual. I smelled it and took a small taste, and it was clear that the wine was no longer good. I then checked the packaging and saw that it had been boxed in July 2025, meaning it was well past the recommended 12-month period. I brought it back to the store hoping to exchange it and explain what had happened so they could be aware of the issue. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled was extremely disappointing. The owner became very upset and yelled at me, insisting that he had purchased the wine this year and that there was nothing wrong with it. What was especially frustrating was that he did not even take the time to look at the date on the box before arguing with me. I explained that I was not there to argue. I simply wanted to make him aware of the issue so that he could check the remaining inventory and prevent another customer from having the same experience. Instead, he refused to exchange the product and told me that he believed I would come back again asking for another refund. I was extremely upset and disappointed by the way I was treated. I have been here several times before, which makes this experience even more frustrating. Unfortunately, after this interaction, I will not be returning.
